I had no problem installing this. And it works great. The only issue I encountered was I needed to turn down the heat level. Because I had it set to high. It gave me the code to let me know that I needed to turn down the temperature. And it is working perfectly. And I have hot water even at lower flow rate. So I would recommend this. As long as you use two 8 gauge wire 40amp circuits. I installed the second circuit and changed the wire and circuit breaker from the hot water heater. Because my hot water heater had a 14gauge wire that 20amp breaker. As most homes use. So if you don’t know how to install electrical circuits. You will need an electrician. And your plumbing will need to be modified. If you are changing from a hot water heater. As I did, and most homes have if it’s time to replace. I found that the cost of a new water heater. Was twice the amount. Even with the cost of the water heater and materials. And on demand uses less energy. So I will be using less electricity. So my house will be more efficient. And my largest monthly cost is electricity. So I have saved money when I installed it. And will continue to use less electricity every month. Definitely the best option in my opinion. And I felt that this was the best product after looking into the alternatives listed. And reading reviews and other information. IE 18kw price and installation requirements. However it is not a easy DIY project. Unless you have the knowledge and tools. I would say that if you have the skills and tools. Then it will be fairly simple to install. I spent about two times as much effort changing the electrical as installing the water heater. And it took about a day to install everything. And I had to bring the new circuit breaker from outside. Because my circuit breaker box didn’t have any place for the new breaker. And the temperature is very easy to adjust. And stays hot for as long as It is used. I have been using mine for about a month without any problems.

The product has a grounding issue and NO customer Support. I contacted amazon for help and they asked me to pay a restocking fee to get unit replaced. I paid for a Plumber and Electrician to come and check out unit before I tried to get customer support. Please beware they give you absolutely ZERO customer support and Amazon was literally no help, just wanted to return unit and pay restocking fee for a defective product!

My third tankless in 30 yrs. Highly recommend! I installed it quickly and with no issues. We can run shower, kitchen sink and washer at same time and have steady hot water. Price was very good and shipped quick!

I replaced a 20 year old 50 gallon electric water heater. I chose this unit 18kw due to the power requirements and output. I am in the DFW area and it is December. The cold water seems to be about 65 degrees. I set the output to 130. With that I can run a single shower at full pressure at 130. If I add a faucet it goes down to 128. With two faucets and a shower it’s at 108. I would say it should work well as this will service my spare bedrooms shower which only gets used with guests rarely and our kitchen. I would say it’s barely adequate for all of that. It takes two 40 amp breakers with 8 gauge wire. Luckily it was near the breaker box and it was easy to run the wires. I had to purchase all of the fittings that are in the picture including the two clean out valves and pressure release. The wires were very difficult to connect inside the unit and the ground wire set screw was missing. The male fittings coming out of the bottom of the unit leaked a bit at first, but I was able to tighten them. Also the valve fittings have a gasket that didn’t work well and I had to add a gasket to stop leaks. There are very basic limited instructions. 4 stars only because there is absolutely no tech support and the instructions are inadequate. If you are handy though, it seems like a great unit. I can’t attest to how well it lasts.

I have installed at least 40 instant water heaters. Water Heater is very inconsistent, hot cold at first. Now the unit doesn't work any more. I didn't know it was disposable in 6-8 months. Wasted my money and time on product. Don't buy this is junk, unless you need just for a few months.
