This natural gas pilot assembly is a perfect fit for my older Reliance 606 water heater. Not too hard to replace into the heater either. However, this is the second unit I've purchased as the thermocouple failed in just one year. The original thermocouple lasted nearly 15 years, so I was very disappointed that this one had to be replaced so quickly. It's not the time it takes to re-install, it being without hot water for a couple days.

Came day after order... Is why I ordered. Very similar to what came out. Took 10-12 minutes. Fired right up. If issues do arise and I can modify review I will. Just so happy I can take a shower I thought I'd write a review while it's heating. **** Note. You have to order this assembly for the AO Smith GCV 50 water heaters. The universal ones will not work. Trust me on this.

After installing the thermocouple acted like it was bad. I switch to new thermocouple and it works now. :( But The seller came though with a replacement.
