Nice book. Feels a little heavier imo than some of the other books we have bought. It looks like pictured with a black cover. My son is using it for sketching & drawing and the paper seems good. It's not super thin paper. He uses pencils right now so I am not sure on the quality of the paper with other mediums. The colors look nice when drawn on the paper. With pencil there really isn't bleed through. Good value.

Top spiral sketchbook are my personal preference, it just works best for me, although I use others as well. I love the hard covers on this book, there is no need for easels or boards. The paper weight is perfect for pencils. I, personally use ink & it works great for that as well. It is a true white, which it great for white ink work, such as highlights. It's a really good sketchbook for the price, esp. if you go through sketchbooks regularly.
