  • Good for your Garden and good value for your money!

I'll be getting more of these for my garden. Good value for your money.

  • Works great
Size: 6Pack
Moving to Florida was an eye opening experience when it came to landscaping. The soil here is so poor. After several months I realized I needed to amend my soil. I ordered this product to help enhance my potting soil. It worked perfectly and went along way. Each block is compacted tightly but totally expands when you break it apart and add water. ... show more

  • Not actually 6 gallons, barely 3
Size: 3Pack
It's pretty much what you'd expect from this material- light, fluffy, great for retaining moisture. I'm using it in a turtle enclosure for bedding. I soaked it in a 5 gallon bucket of water, all 3 bricks, for most of a day. I had to break the bricks apart as they absorbed the water (of course) and in the end I scooped it out by hand and squeezed the excess out. The total it produced was maybe 3 gallons, which wasn't really enough for my purpose but I will buy more. For the price, it's not a big disappointment at all. This stuff will be great for mixing with potting soil for planting and so on, and its also good for (land) turtle bedding. It's a good choice for my turtle enclosure because I plan to make it bio-active with plants. ... show more

  • Great product!! Really swells in water !!
Size: 9Pack
These come as hard dry bricks that need to be soaked. First time using them. I made the mistake of putting 3 in a 3 gal bucket and they got stuck! :) learned my lesson the hard way. Had to cut the bucket. Use a large container or do one at a time. Add the water as needed to hydrate them. If you just fill the container, you will have a bucket of mush ! Really fluffs out well. Mixes well. Great value for the price. ... show more

  • Works as stated
Size: 9Pack
Purchased for new raised beds as fillers. Soaked 4-5 and decided to breakup the rest and sprinkle into raised beds on top of manure layer then will top with topsoil. Will let Mother Nature provide the water with forecasted rain. As stated in other reviews you must have patience when soaking, let mine soak overnight and don’t have patience for 18 of them. They did expand 4-5 times the size of the brick. ... show more

  • The low star score is for the packing department and shipping
Size: 9Pack
First of all, let's discuss the product ... the product, what's left of it, is rich and easy to use and my plants that I planted this in, will love this. It really doesn't smell, and works well, it doesn't break down as easily as in the video but if you leave it soak for a bit, that method works well. SHIPPING AND PRODUCT CHECK/INSPECTION. I don't know if the drivers just threw the package in front of my house, but they were clever turning the box upside down so you didn't see the damage to the box at first, but did see trails and trails of dirt all over my door step and driveway, and as we lifted the box, a whole bunch of soil came flying out. Lately, my biggest complaint about Amazon, is not the product but the shipping and lack of packing materials around the products they send. Come on Amazon, for all the money you get from your clients, surely you can afford better packing procedures! ... show more

  • Generous amount for the money.
I just this in many ways. In the spring I but them down in the chicken area when it gets wet. I also add it to the bottom of my hanging pot to hold water longer. I also add to all my potted plants.
