It’s a good rug it looks nicer than it does in pictures it’s very very soft but not thick at all. It is slightly cushioned but not enough to dampen footsteps. And it is pretty slippery if you have slippers of so be careful :)

The rug is soft under your feet, warm and cozy. I have not noticed any shedding. It is plush enough for the basement area I’m using it in. My dogs enjoy laying on it, they find it comfortable. It looks nice and matches the other items going in the area. I did spot clean an area from one of the kids tracking mud and it cleaned up easily.

This checkered area rug is an absolute dreammmmm! The beige and white checkered pattern is so charmingg and fits perfectly with my home’s aesthetic, giving the space a warm, inviting feel. But honestly, the best part is how unbelievably soft and fluffy it is. I love walking on it, but my dogs are completely obsessed, they’ve practically claimed it as their own! Even so, I can’t help but love it just as much as they do. It’s large, plush, and feels luxurious underfoot, while still being practical with its washable, non-slip design. The media could not be loaded. I don’t think it’s very much like it looks as advertised at all. It’s more of a glorified picnic blanket than it is a rug, and it’s stretched out from how it was folded and packaged.. so the middle is impossible to smooth out.

I didnt like it as much as I thought I would. First, I have crippling OCD - I cant begin to imagine why they made the checkered pattern uneven. I thought it was just a weird camera angle in the pictures, but no they all seem to look like that. Not a uniform checker, it gets smaller, larger, uneven; that really bothered me. Second, its spray dyed, so the color is inconsistent and once again uneven, with black painted on the tips of white parts or vice versa, making the already uneven pattern look even more sloppy. Once again I find this visually unpleasant. It is pretty thin, so I had trouble getting it to flatten out competely after being folded up for shipping. But its a lot of rug in a fairly small package, and easy to store if needed. Thin but warm - especially compared to hardwood floors - and fair price for such a big rug. Average quality really. But if you need a cheap rug, don't have OCD, and you don't have pets that use your floor as a toilet, you might like it. Unfortunately I have a lot of cats, some of which puke and pee on my rugs. The pile is just too long and furry, making it difficult to spot clean, so I can't use it right now. It is easily stored under my bed and will probably remain there until I move.
