I picked up this Yarooge rug because I liked the floral pattern and wanted something soft and sound-dampening over the hardwood floors in my office / guest bedroom. * Style and Appearance: The pattern is really cute, just like in the picture. It has kind of a classic, cottage-core meets botanical meets French Country feel to it. The design is printed on top of the rug, so the color only goes down a millimeter or two. If the rug folds even a little, you can see the lighter base underneath which is unfortunate. * Color Quality: The colors are more muted in person compared to the photos. It still looks nice, just softer / duller than expected. * Pile and Texture: The rug is super soft and very low pile. It feels great to walk on and is easy to vacuum because it isn’t thick. * Wrinkles and Flattening: The instructions state that the wrinkles will come out on their own in 24 hours. Well, that certainly didn't happen. You have to vacuum it and rub the creases out with your foot or hand. Even then, you can still see some lines. It may relax more over time, but the wrinkles even after a couple of days and trying to get them out are pretty noticeable. * Material and Build: This is a flat-woven polyester rug with printed dye. Because the dye only sits on the surface, you can see the white of the base fabric in the cracks or folds. That’s the tradeoff with print-style rugs (basically, you get a lower cost typically). * Craftsmanship: Edges look neat and the pattern printing is clean, but the surface-only dye means any bend shows lighter spots. * Non-Slip Backing: The non-slip backing works really well. It stays in place and doesn’t bunch up or slide when you walk across it. * Anticipated Durability: Because of the printing process, I’m not sure how well it will hold up to long-term cleaning or heavy use. For basic use in a home office, bedroom, under a dining table, or in a low-traffic area, it should be fine. * Washability and Care: It’s advertised as machine washable, but I’d be careful with repeated washing due to the surface-dye printing. Spot cleaning would probably help it last longer. * Value for the Cost (19.99): For 19.99, it’s a great deal for a 5 x 7 rug. It’s cute, super soft, and easy to manage. The tradeoff is the surface printing and the wrinkles that really take some work to smooth out. * Bottom Line: I personally think it’s cute and soft for the price. But you should expect muted colors, visible wrinkles which may or may not fall out, and a printed surface that shows the base fabric when it bends. I like the pattern well enough to overlook a few downsides. Recommended with caveats.

I am very picky about rugs and rarely find a design I love- but I absolutely fell in love with the pattern on this one. It is slightly whimsical with a cool looking forest theme design full of deer, rabbits, birds, flowers and botanicals. It's like a modern twist on a traditional style. It reminds me of the styles I see from Rifle Paper Company or Anthropologie- but at a fraction of the price. I received the Dark Green version of the rug and love it. It is exactly as pictured. It has a dark green background and a whimsical pattern throughout that reminds me of an enchanted forest. IIt is perfect for my condo that has a green woodland theme going on. Keep in mind that this is a washable rug, so it is a bit thin, but that is to be expected of any rug you can fold up and put in the washing machine. I received the 5 x 7 version and had no trouble folding it up into a ball and washing it in the machine. You can put a rug pad underneath if you prefer or if you'd like to use one that can make it feel a bit thicker. The rug itself is made of a plush fabric that feels great to walk on. I love that the rug is washable because I have a rescue dog who will inevitably try to use the bathroom on the rug at some point, no matter how careful I am about letting him outside. Once a dog goes to the bathroom on a typical rug, it is nearly impossible to remove with stain removers and scrubbing. It always seems to have a faint smell and a stain or an outline of a stain mixed in with the cleaner or stain remover. Once there is a urine smell in the rug or carpet, the dog tends to try to re-mark the territory over and over and then you're in a downward spiral you can't get rid of until you inevitably toss the rug into the trash. I've ruined way too many traditional rugs this way to ever go back to putting traditional rugs in my home. This rug arrived with some creases in it, so you may want to wash it and then lay it flat to dry. You can wash it by folding in the edges into a hexagon shape and then repeating until you have a ball. You can easily put it into the washing machine and let it run so that the rug is slightly damp. Then I lay it flat to dry and it is dry the next day and in great shape. The rug is beautiful and exactly as shown. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes unique designs- 5 stars!
