Image and video quality is superb, not sure about 88MP and 8K but definitely very solid for a $100 budget starter camera. Camera comes with extra batteries, micro SD card and lots of accessories and is quite easy to use. Plus screen flips for easy selfies.

    • Does the basics fine, the 8K claim is a stretch
Grabbed this to start filming little clips for my channel without spending a ton. First time out I charged both batteries, popped one in, and messed around in the backyard. Setup was easy enough and the flip screen actually is handy for checking myself while I talk. That part I liked. The image quality is where I got let down. The 8K number sounds great but the footage doesn't look anywhere near that sharp to me, especially once you move around. It's more of a fine everyday camera than the pro-level thing the listing hints at. Indoors the built-in light helps a little, but low light still comes out grainy. WiFi transfer to my phone worked after a couple tries, though it dropped on me once and I had to reconnect. The webcam mode was okay for a video call. Beauty mode is heavy handed, so I turned it off. Battery life per charge is short, but having the second battery and the dual charger saves you there. So it's a mixed bag. It does capture photos and clips and shares them, and the two batteries are a nice touch. But the quality doesn't match the big specs and the WiFi is finicky. Landed at three stars because it works, just not the way I hoped. ... show more
