Revision of below: raise from 1 star to 2. It worked better after reset to factory settings. Still had a few glitches, but played music for a whole bike ride. Maybe more stars later if it keeps working. Previous review: The era of the iPod is done. The iPods are worn out, and nobody is able to restore them. I have bought 2 of them now and they both behave the same way: they jump from the middle of a song to the beginning of the same song, or another song; they skip like a stone on water, playing a few seconds of several songs. They shut down and start again by themselves. The control lock switch has no effect. I don't understand how the sellers of these things can not know that they are selling junk. Reason tells me that they sell this junk knowingly to hopeful, gullible suckers. Yet I give them the benefit of the doubt, because I'm weary of having things to be angry about. I may have to resort to a music streaming service. (I have tried several non-iPod mp3 players and they were awful to use after the ease of iPod.)     • It plays music which is all I wanted it to do.
I like mp3s but this one will act up in strange ways, it will suddenly start playing a different song for no apparent reason. Otherwise, it's great.

DO NOT PURCHASE!! I was told that if there is an issue I could return. It’s a Christmas gift. Now that the person who got the gift says the battery dies fast, not even 30 min and the juice is out. Try loading music into it and nothing stays saved. I chose orange and provided different color. Quality is POOR. Does NOT function as it should be. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. ... show more
