  • Terrific Compromise Between a Keyboard and a Piano
Color: Orange
This is a terrific weighted keyboard!! The sound and feel of the keys are so close the real thing, unless you're a real aficionado, you will be extremely happy! (I'd say an aficionado couldn't say otherwise, but I digress...) This is a really good option for beginners or those with limited space or are living in a crowded space where being able to connect headphones so as not to disturb others. With a full set of 88 keys you get the range of a real piano at about 1/3 of the size if not truly less. The weighted keys provide resistance to strengthen your fingers and hands preparing you for true hammers. The volume even mimics the strength of your strike, so you can begin learning volume and intensity control just like on the real thing. The styling is very mid-century modern with the spindle legs (which are metal painted to match the main body.) It is a standard height so you and a piano bench will nicely under it. It even comes with all the pedals so you get all the features and functions needed to play on a real piano. As with most keyboards, it comes with a suite of extra electronic options (of which I have not yet fully explored) such as a built in metronome, a recording feature, sound changes to mimic other instruments like guitar or harpsichord, a split keyboard function which gives you bolder chords to play around with, WiFi connections to connect your devices to take advantage of training apps, and much more!! Believe the 5-star reviews on this one. This is a quality, lower cost option (aka a real unicorn!) You won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Great sound, quality, and price!
Color: White
I love this piano keyboard!!! The sound is great, the weighted keys feel like a real piano, and putting it together with my husband was easy. I have listened to the prerecorded songs but I enjoy playing the most. I haven’t played it years so now I can play regularly. And with earphones, I don’t disturb anyone else! I read many reviews before purchasing this keyboard. One review stated if you played many notes together, some of the keys were stiff. I noticed this at first, but the more I have played, the easier this has become. If you are looking for an electric keyboard that won’t break the bank, this is it! ... show more

  • Awesome Piano, Exactly what I was looking for!!!
Color: Orange
Wencai makes a great piano for the studying musician; it's a great introduction into the pianist world. I just need to learn piano for my classes and I'm a commuting student and I don't feel like taking a hike to school everytime I need to practice or sacrifice social time for time better spent at home drilling it at my leisure; so, after some lookups online and research and reviews, Amazon's Wencai popped up. Superb! Great Reviews, pictures, video and audio... alright bought. First reactions: Great! It was super easy to setup and had everything I needed. The weight of the keys was heavy and it has the full 88 keys, the volume is adjustable, and there's a ton of settings, but for just drilling and learning music repertoire it's perfect for the beginner musician at an affordable price. Well worth the look! Comes it USB-C/USB-A or USB-2.0 Micro-B out and can take headphone jacks, computer 3.5mm audio cables, and there are sustain pedals which is cool. Caveats: Make sure if you're putting it in your living room and you need an extension cord to get a power strip or a smart strip or extension cord or whatever... luckily I had extras. ... show more

  • Great Purchase!
Color: Orange
looks amazing in my house, incredibly easy to set up, and with the weighted keys its like having a true piano for a fraction of the cost. My friend tried it and is buying one for their apartment.

  • Beginners will be happy but will outgrow it.
Color: Orange
I’ve played both the Donner and Wencai weighted digital pianos. In my opinion, the Donner is unmatched in quality, sound, and feel. That said, if you really can’t afford the extra cost, the Wencai is superior to most keyboards I’ve played. The weight and sound sufficiently replicate a piano for beginner and amateur players. My big qualm with the Wencai is that keys will sometimes miss repetitive or quickly played notes. I also dislike all the different features and would just prefer a louder sound and more natural look instead. Sometimes simple is better. For the money, I will keep the Wencai but it isn’t going to be an heirloom piece. ... show more

  • BUY THIS NOW!
Color: Beige
We got this as an alternative to a real piano because it was lighter and easier to move. I was VERY impressed by the sound and feel of the weighted keys it honestly feels like you’re playing a real piano and not a keyboard! It looks so nice as well, we get plenty of compliments on it! Less expensive than buying many real pianos as well, it is so worth it. ... show more

  • We Ended Up With The Wencai and the Donner DDP-80 And The Winner is...
Color: Orange
Both. The impressive sound chip and speakers seem to be pretty equal between the two, however the Donner's cabinet is bigger and seems to resonate a bit more. If one wanted the generous digital features over the Donner's one sound this Wencai is a sweet little keyboard that seems well-made and has a slightly smaller footprint. I personally like the overall aesthetics of the Wencai better---it's really cute. The Donner is beautiful as well but more stately in appearance and I do believe their algorithm for the pressure sensitive keys is a little better. I'm tickled with both---don't think you can go wrong either way. I'm becoming a real fan of Donner lately but I'll definitely check out future offerings from Wencai. ... show more
