When using this lens on Canon RF-mount mirrorless camera, you must shoot in Manual (M) mode and enable "Release shutter w/o Lens" in the camera menu. (This setting is required for all manual lenses.)
• Note: Manual Focus (MF)Please note: This is a manual focus lens (no autofocus AF/no image stabilization). You must focus by rotating the focus ring on the lens. If you do not manually focus, the image will be completely blurred (out of focus). If you are uncomfortable with manual operation, please choose an autofocus lens.
• Versatile Portrait Lens 85mm F1.8As a portrait lens, the 85mm focal length is ideal for shooting half-body and full-body portraits. • Manual Focus & Aperture Ring AdjustmentRotate the focus ring manually to achieve focus. The aperture value cannot be set via the camera, so "F00" will be displayed. To adjust the aperture, manually rotate the aperture ring on the lens. Additionally, you must manually adjust exposure settings (shutter speed and ISO) according to the shooting environment to capture clear images; otherwise, photos may appear too dark or too white.
