We ordered a large (14+) which the box specifies, but the size that came in the box was a small/medium (8-12). The item is great itself. white and matte so my daughter can decorate it with stickers. We are keeping the helmet because my daughter doesn't want to wait for the hassle of exchanging since she's ready to get started on skating. her head has a circumference of 22.5" and it fits snug with little wiggle room, but not tight so we are okay with it.
