I wasn't expecting these gloves to be lined, but they are. The lining, IMO, reduces some of the flexibility of goat skin, but also adds a nice feel. nice heavy weight leather.

Out of the 3 pairs of gloves I ordered that day, this one was the most pleasant slide onto my hand with. They were also the thickest of the 3. Initially I felt like the glove may lose some dexterity due to how thick it felt at first, but after some use I would consider them just as dexterous as the Lincolns, but not quite as much as the Defiant Metal gloves. Due to my own use, they have been burned and flexed a few times, and I have found that they shrink quite a bit when burnt black, although this is clearly not their intended state or use. Despite this, I have yet to burn myself, just the glove. They have also not torn or cut, even having 200lbs+ hanging off of them. Certainly a decent glove for TIG, may not be ideal if you constantly torch your gloves, but then again, you're not supposed to torch your gloves.

Durable, loose fitting (but don't fall off) and . . . well what else do you need? I use these for 90% of my work around the house. I bought an extra pair for the "Johnny" (tractor). They aren't good for detailed work, but for logging and lumber work, wheeler rides, etc. they are perfect. Bonus . . . the dogs enjoy playing rough when they know they can bite down a little when I'm wearing these. I should buy another pair just for them. :)

I would say that the sizing in terms of length, was right, but the girth, the size that surrounds the hand was a little too tight. I have a bit of trouble with my hand movement. This could still improve with more use. The internal lining has a netting material. I think this was Kevlar. In spite of the netting, I felt no harsh friction on my skin. If not for the tightness, I would describe this as comfortable.

I think these are great work gloves. They are not the most durable, but they are extremely soft and comfortable. As a bonus, the Kevlar liner protects against those nasty Himalayan blackberry thorns. This purchase was my second pair, I snagged the goatskin outside on a nail while doing some demolition work. The liner did its job and protected me, but the gloves needed to be replaced. I didn't hesitate to buy these gloves again.

These are very tough gloves and are comfortable -- once you break them in. It takes a little time before they "fit like a glove", but once they get there they are comfortable and very tough. Using them for placing tons of 12" - 18" rock and are past the point most of my gloves give out (cowhide work gloves) and are still in great shape.
