I like the small suze of the unit. I also like the amount of heat it outs out. One suggestion is to include a trip switch mechanism in case someone does not follow instructions to mount it against a wall. If it is propoed up against a wall and falls over, it will keep operating, thereby possibly causing a fire. However, mounted as per instructions, the units works great.

Our dog would rather be outside than inside if we're not home. But when the forcast calls for overnight lows in the single digits and highs in the mid 20's, you can't leave the dog outside without extra protection. After I installed the heater and it was 18 degrees outside, my dog put his muzzle in the doghouse, then walked in and sat down. He loved it! When I got home 4 hours later, he was warm and happy! The casing doesn't get hot and it's built well. Great on/off switch built into the cord with 2 settings. Easy to install and easy to remove and store during warm weather with supplied bracket. Great product!

This little heater packs a punch. I built a 3' x 2' x 2' cat house for a few stray cats that started coming around this past winter. It drops to the single digits here in New England, so I knew the self-heating pads weren't gonna be enough. I finally chose this heater after searching for a bit and I'm more than statisfied with my choice. It has a high and low setting, but I never had to put it on high even when it went to 2° here. I put my hand in the cat house every day to check if I should put it on high but never needed to. The cats slept like babies and I think the cat house was warmer than mine!

I just wish there was a manufacturer who made these smaller for cats . This is a feral cat feeding house. On low it's keeping the food from freezing in urban Denver.

One of the two heating elements went out so you're getting warm air coming out of one side of the heater and cold out of the other. Right now I'm looking at finding someone to repair it
