My digital display shows E1. I've tried several times, but it keeps happening. What should I do? I contacted the seller and sent them photos of the display. They quickly helped me resolve the issue. It was a fantastic shopping experience. The bad thing is I misplaced the instruction manual and can't find it anywhere. How can I get a new copy? No worries at all. You can contact the seller to get an electronic instruction. Can I use the dog house heater with it? What temperature setting would be appropriate? Can purchase one to try. Note when space smaller, temperature should be adjusted to a relatively lower setting.Our perception of temperature has a delay—don't set it too high just because feel very cold. Set a suitable temperature based on the space.

Works great! Bought this for our outdoor dog house to keep our pups warm during the colder days. We keep it set either at 75 or 80, and it stays nice and toasty. The door to their house is drafty, due to having a makeshift doggie door, so with some cold air coming in, and the heater, it makes it not too hot. Our younger one has a bad habit of chewing on cords, and chewed through their old heater. So far she hasn't tried with this cord. This isn’t the only company I had this issue with. I had this issue with one of the 800 W heaters. I had they have a plug-in piece that is to monitor temperature and it gets chewed up and can’t be replaced. You have to buy a whole new heater this one and the beaver 800 W was both like that so total waste of money trying to find one that doesn’t have that plug-in piece that can just be chewed up. ... show more

We have bed. Using this for a couple weeks during the snow storm we was hit with and had negative windshield, it kept our Fog house about 20 degrees above what the temp was outside but we do have a very large dog house that I can stand up in and it is about 300-400 Sqft it’s 8 Ft x 10 ft and has a pitched roof with shingles , so we could actually probably use 2 dog heaters but we have 5 GSD and they get to hot , so this works good enough to keep it comfortable , I have a camera in dog house so can watch the temp and I had it turned up to 105 and it stayed about 20 degrees higher then outside temp , the quality seems very good and it was easy to install we did add a price of metal on the wall and then mounted the heater , we like the fact it had a thermostat and has a metal frame and protected good quality cord , I would recommend this heater ... show more

This little heater packs a punch. I built a 3' x 2' x 2' cat house for a few stray cats that started coming around this past winter. It drops to the single digits here in New England, so I knew the self-heating pads weren't gonna be enough. I finally chose this heater after searching for a bit and I'm more than statisfied with my choice. It has a high and low setting, but I never had to put it on high even when it went to 2° here. Our dog would rather be outside than inside if we're not home. But when the forcast calls for overnight lows in the single digits and highs in the mid 20's, you can't leave the dog outside without extra protection. After I installed the heater and it was 18 degrees outside, my dog put his muzzle in the doghouse, then walked in and sat down. He loved it! When I got home 4 hours later, he was warm and happy! The casing doesn't get hot and it's built well. Great on/off switch built into the cord with 2 settings. Easy to install and easy to remove and store during warm weather with supplied bracket.
