Works like a charm! I don’t have an E file yet so I thought I would try these so I could have smooth nails after I used a dip nail system. I used the course side to file through the two layers of clear polish, then I was able to take off my nail polish really easily. I sought out an 80 grit nail file since the higher grits are flimsy and of poor quality and I could not find a good file in any local store. Most people have a change in their toenails when we become older due to a shift in the structure of our bodies. This has been the 'best' file I have 'ever' purchased. The military shoes are a 'one size fits all'. This is not true, so I started having issues with ingrown toenails and hammertoes. The military just kept removing the nail over the over (government abuse). As I became older, I had to seek out a podiatrist to permanently remove one of my big toenails. He said I would need surgery from the damages done by military shoes. This file has been a great blessing for me. The grit on these files are sturdy for any toenail and will last a long time. The only thing one must be careful not to file too closely to the skin or file too fast as this could break the skin. Outside of this, I highly recommend this file.

These files were just what I needed to remove my gel nails. They are remarkably coarse, which gives me greater confidence in their use than using an electric nail bit, which helps me avoid any potential damage to my natural nails. However, I did notice a rather strong chemical smell, which may be a concern for those with sensitivities to odors.

Years ago, you used to be able to get decent nail files that were solid and lasted. Nowadays, they make them with a foam in the middle and they fall apart within a short while and are hard to control. These are the closest to the files that were available in times past. Time will tell if they are as good, but for now I think they are better than anything else available today.

The media could not be loaded. Heel sufferers —You’re going to LOVE these! I had a smaller 5” 80/80 file that I purchased at the airport! It was too coarse for my natural nails but a total game changer for my heels and my feet! The old one broke after using it for an entire year and I recently found these 80/80 Grit on Amazon! A total HEEL safer that I highly recommend! Shipping was faster than expected and the seller knocked this one out of left field! No complaints whatsoever! Will buy again to add to my supply.

I do not have acrylic nails, which is what these were made for according to the description, but I was so tired of those little bitty, flimsy nail files that not only don’t do a good job on your nails, but do not last long at all. So I decided to try these for my natural nails and I love them. You can use them several times before you have to throw them away and you get several in a pack. For the price, you cannot beat these. This is my second order.
