I sought out an 80 grit nail file since the higher grits are flimsy and of poor quality and I could not find a good file in any local store. Most people have a change in their toenails when we become older due to a shift in the structure of our bodies. This has been the 'best' file I have 'ever' purchased. The military shoes are a 'one size fits all'. This is not true, so I started having issues with ingrown toenails and hammertoes. The military just kept removing the nail over the over (government abuse). As I became older, I had to seek out a podiatrist to permanently remove one of my big toenails. He said I would need surgery from the damages done by military shoes. This file has been a great blessing for me. The grit on these files are sturdy for any toenail and will last a long time. The only thing one must be careful not to file too closely to the skin or file too fast as this could break the skin. Outside of this, I highly recommend this file. ... show more
