Great for tent camping with air mattress, durable and stiff. I have purchased 4 or 5 different brands of 4.5 to 5 mil tarps here and at the hardware store. These are the ones I keep using for tent camping with my air mattresses. No punctures from pine needles so far, the laminating makes them nice and stiff. The only drawback is that they are still thin, though. 5 mil would have made these superior tarps. Easy to wipe and dry off after use, too, because of lamination. This is a huge tarp with grommets at regular intervals down the sides. Great for covering stuff up with and keeping things dry. The grommets are durable and work great, and I love that they are all down the sides and not just at the corners. It is on the thin side though and doesn't feel very durable. I actually got this to use under a tent but am not sure it will be thick enough to protect from rocks and sticks. I haven't had a chance to use it under the tent yet but we've used it to cover things outside and shovel dirt onto, etc. It has worked fine for all of those activities so far. ... show more

I barely had this tarp for a couple of months .Just hanging over something to protect from out side and the tarp just already shredded and tore. Does not last long and a very cheaply made tarp!
