Description

Finestra's Premium Arctic Matte 230gsm Inkjet Paper is perfect for Photography, Posters, Presentations, POS Signage, CAD and Graphic Art Reproductions. It's bright white in appearance and holds detail extremely well. It's a glare free Matte surface that Works Great With All Major Ink Jet Manufacturers and many more. It can be hot or cold laminated if desired and will show your work off beautifully. While not required, you can spray finish with a lacquer based overspray such as Finestra Art's Photographer's Friend Lacquer Spray (SKU: FM-PROSB-SPRAY) after printing to achieve increased lightfastness. The spray seals the print, gives it a waterproof coating, helps protect against scratches and inhibits UV damage. Premium Arctic Matte is compatible with all Inkjet Printers. If you are looking for what photo labs call a matte finish then you want LUSTER photo paper. Matte photo paper by all paper manufacturers is fine artist or presentation paper commonly used for posters, prints and signed artwork. It is NOT a resin coated paper like Luster or Glossy.

I used this paper as card stock for an photographic art card project. I produced a 100 card order with the FinestraArt Premium Matte Inkjet paper and was really pleased with it. The Arctic White paper is acid free, worked perfectly in my not very expensive Canon printer (fed through the rear feeder, using 3 sheets at a time), came in exactly the size I needed (8"X10" for a 5"X8" card) and was easily scored for the fold. The paper has a beautiful, glare free picture surface and a nice weight. Dries instantly. The company includes a link to recommended print settings for more sophisticated users. I used it on the Canon setting for "matte paper" and was very happy with the result. Cost for 100 sheets was less than $1 per sheet on Amazon. ... show more

Played around several papers before deciding cotton made the best prints of my water color work. I had already ordered the finestra and hoped it would at least work for my photos. I was notified that my package arrived during a terrible storm. When I saw the soggy box on the porch, my heart fell. I need this paper now. Fearing the worst, I carried it inside and opened it. I was impressed by the packaging, because the inside of the box was dry, and made to protect the corners. The paper was in plastic and dry as a bone. The cover page was plainly labeled to show which side to print on, and the paper was thick like cardstock. I did a test page, and I was amazed by the quality of my art prints!     • Bent corner on half of the sheets
Good paper quality but half of the sheets were damaged on multiple corners. Since I'm using these sheets for art prints, I can't have damaged corners. I ended up having to throw away a majority of the sheets. Update 1 Star: I've ordered multiple packs of this so called 8x10 paper and have had serious issues with printing borderless due to the paper itself not truly being 8x10. It'll be 10" x 7 7/8". Since I have such an advance printer, the printer sees that the paper size is different than what is loaded into the multi-purpose feed. Update 4 Star: Customer service has been great. I've spoken with a rep at Finestra on multiple occasions and have resolved my issues. The main issue I have is the bent corners and that is because Amazon doesn't ship these very well. They don't package the boxes at all, allowing the box of paper to bounce around inside the Amazon box, causing bent corners during shipment. The bad sizing issue I mentioned before has also been resolved. The Finestra machines have been re-calibrated and I don't seem to be having the issue with borderless images anymore.     • Photos look great
I was recently commissioned to print some photos I initially took but sadly now for a memorial. I advised the client that I really love a photo with a matte finish that to me it adds more depth to the photo. I loaded the Arctic Matte Inkjet Photo Paper into my HP inkjet and changed the finish the Matte. Once the printing began I was very impressed with how this paper fed and even more impressed with the final product they looked so perfect and so clear. Finding the right paper for my art prints was a long journey. After reading such positive reviews for the FinestraArt brand, I felt confident enough to take a chance. And I'm so glad I did. It produced my print 100% accurately. I printed using the Epson ET-7750 and used the "Premium Presentation Matte Paper" setting on high quality. The paper is smooth and not too thick so it should work on most, if not all printers through the rear feed tray. The paper came packaged very carefully with bubble wrap on the corners. The white of the paper is very bright and captures my prints beautifully. Totally worth the money, and I can't wait to make more prints! ... show more

    • Fantastic for professional art prints
I was letting Society6 handle my art prints because I didn't have much faith in the paper I'd used in the past being the quality I needed. This paper is just as nice and now I'm making more than $1.50 per print. The colors are vibrant and honestly, I prefer the prints to the original. It's matte, heavy and it feels expensive. Just make sure to set your printer settings to thick paper (presentation paper is what I choose) otherwise it will probably get jammed.     • Surprisingly good quality
I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this paper. My printer often has issues with thicker paper, so I was a little uncertain of this, but decided to give it a go anyways. It's performing very well! The print quality is beautiful, and the paper is not thick enough to jam my epson. Can't beat the price, either :) ... show more
