Super sleek design, I really like how everything looks on my TV stand. It was extremely easy to install, just plug and play. Selecting the different ports and options has never been an issue for me and now I can easily have all of my gaming consoles plugged into one single TV with easy functionality to change between them. The HDMI ports seem well made and nothing has broken or lagged for me at all during use. I mainly play N64, PS, Xbox or Wii and all of them have no issues or lag.

This makes connecting my old VCR and game systems up to my setup easy. It has good picture quality, I had other converters that did not have as nice quality. Its a good value, as you able to connect 4 old devices up using just one HDMI.

First off... highly recommended. I've had some trouble hooking up my old GameCube to our new TCL TV. Bought a $18 AV-HDMI adapter at the local game store - lighter than a wiffleball, turned out to be absolute blurry, double vision, low contrast trash. Unplayable. So I found this, read the reviews, got it, and hooked it up. The difference really is like night and day, although I realize this is not the absolute best. For that you need a RetroTink... for about $350, and I don't have that kind of money to spend on this. SO... about the product. Out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised that it's got some weight. Sturdly metal casing and nice high quality switch buttons. Also has a feature that allows you to switch to the proper 4:3 aspect ratio - which is handy because then I don't the TVs output setting, having to switch back and forth. The device was very intuitive to hook up, and the picture is nice and clear. It does have a slight delay at start up, where you can hear the GameCube's boot up jingle while still having a few seconds of bluescreen, but fear not. This delay is only at startup. I haven't played enough to notice any severe input lag but I did play Ikaruga for a few minutes (a self scrolling bullet hell space shooter) and is plays as smoothly as I remember. So what more is there to say? 4 stars for being a vast improvement and well worth the price. Can you get even better picture quality? According to the internet, yes. But within this price range, not likely. Highly recommended.

I tested a Wii, PS2, and Xbox One X with this switcher, and it displays inputs well enough, but the Wii and Xbox inputs don't fit my tv anymore, unlike if they were to be inputting directly to the tv. One tiny thing I'd like it to have is little labels for marking which input is which on the switcher to help keep track of them.

I needed this item to record from my Direct TV genie which has only and HDMI source. My dvd recorder has rca connections. I thought that this would record from the source as an input...iT DOESNT. It claims that you can record games and other things from the inputs that are on the unit. You cant. No possible way. Its useless. I dont need something just to hook up 5 additional hdmi inputs....I have a TV for that. A waste of time and money. No thank you.
