Purchased these rhythm sticks and egg shakers for my 2 and 4 year old. They enjoy playing with them. The wood is sturdy and smooth. Free of any splinters. They shake the eggs to make noise. I bought a set of these wooden percussion instruments for each of my three grandchildren who are taking piano, drums, and harp lessons. They are perfect for all three as the teachers stress counting and rhythm. Definitely is helping each child.

    • Percussion set
The sticks and eggs were in great shape, smooth and easy to hold. The egg shakers were very quiet. Even with a microphone you could barely hear the shaker noise. It didn’t work for our band . Would probably be good for classroom or children. Or if you had several sets.
