Nice sound
I'm a musician myself and bought it for my 10 month old. The sound is very good. Not too high pitched, but more of a natural wood sound.

Great addition to my grandkids’ musical instruments
The collection of musical instruments for my grandkids needed some choices that will last a longer and look more authentic than the large number of plastic or dollar store variety items. Both the rhythm sticks and the shaker eggs feel completely smooth and fit into preschool and adult hands easily. The wood material used in both percussion instruments will allow them to be used for years. The set came with a well-made drawstring bag for storage, but mine will go into the instrument bin and I’ll probably use the bag for something else!

Great quality
Such a fun purchase for my 5 year old that wanted to play along with our guitar and piano. Excellent quality and very smooth wood.

Love these
Baby loves these. He likes to chew on the sticks and throw and shake the egg. The sound is nice… not too loud.

Fun!
Very nice for the money. Smooth finish and yes, the wood color is as light as the photo shows. Whatever is used inside the egg shakers has the perfect amount as with a gentle shake, you get just enough noise. These are not overly loud even when shaken hard. The sticks make the sound you would expect when banging two pieces of finished wood together which is pretty much all I can say about that. Also, these say "for kids" but I definitely bought them for myself and they're great.

Great set of percussion instruments
I got these for my kids. They are well made and nicely finished and the kids really enjoy using them. They are high enough quality for a band or professional setting as well.
