Perfect for bonsais and other small plants. It does not come with a soil grate, so be careful and have it ready when potting. The quality is good, and it has a nice shine to it.

The pot is beautiful and seems to be of high quality, although I wish the inside was also glazed (sealed). I doubt it is a good idea to use the water catcher for the watering process itself, it seems like it may warp. I'm watering in another catcher and transferring it to its normal resting place on the wood base after it has drained and dried. Depending on how frequently the plant for which it intended needs to be watered, this wood issue could present an irritation. For my plant it has been fine, but just know going into the purhase that the base may be delicate. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Not only beautiful but it works. Just remember to never over water any plant and this pot will be great for your Bonsai for a very long time! This Fukein Tea Tree was placed in a pot that did not drain and because of this the tree was rotting. I had to purchase her and cure her. It was risky because she had black spots, brown spots and leaves were falling daily. Armed with research and great materials like Bonsai Soil and Bonsai rocks and great drainage and good watering practice she is thriving. This pot played a huge role so thank you for the business.
