I ordered this without reading reviews which was a huge mistake. This is definitely not 8 awg wire. In the picture I have it held up next to some quality 10awg wire and it’s even smaller than the 10awg wire. It has a large diameter insulation sheath with barely any wire in it. If I had to guess I’d say it’s closer to 12awg. Definitely not what I ordered and not safe to use for the purpose it was intended for. A serious let down as I was heading out of town to complete a project and now I’ll have to stop somewhere to purchase correct sized wire after already making this waste of a purchase. As others have stated the connectors supplied are tinny and cheap. Not quality like they seem in the website picture. Do not buy this product unless you like to waste your dollars. It shouldn’t even be on this site. So disappointing! ... show more

If this wire holds amp/voltage with no heating up or issues, I will but more. Very flexible. But if you need a bit of stiffness to make it feed easy Nope. Doesn't even stand out on it's own. Cuts clean.
