Bought this for my shower house skid shack in Colorado. Took 5 minutes to fill up, plugged it in, set temp at halfway, 30 minutes later we were able to take nice 15 min showers in 45 degree weather. It says in the manual "not for showers" but its perfect for us, scolding HOT at highest setting and is absolutely worth it. Take it camping, run it off a 2,000 watt generator, no problem. Easy hot military style showers. Would make a great RV replacement or outdoor shower unit as well. Great product.

I’m a dog groomer with an rv and my rv uses a gas water heater so I bought this to switch it out for an electric one. I only plug it up when I need it and usually a 15-20 min plug in time is all I need to be able to wash 3 dogs. It heats up quickly and was easy to install, I’ve had it for months now and it is very reliable, I definitely do not regret buying it, it’s made my life so much easier! I have it sitting on top of an oil pan with bricks so the overflow valve has somewhere to spill into, I usually have to dump this out once a week.

So this is the second hot water heater that we have gotten in the last week trying to get some hot water for the shower and nothing. Somebody tell me is there some secret handshake or something I need to do to get this thing to turn on. Or maybe the shower God has deemed it my Punishment to take cold showers the rest of my life. Update: I had to order a special fitting from Amazon to hook it up.

Very easy to assemble, but the instructions are very vague. They give no information about overfilling the tank, and the Reed dial is very hard to read because the low and high sections are not highlighted plus there’s no gauge to show you when the tank is filled or the danger when the tank is too low

I love the hot water heater temperature van reach almost boiling water in minutes never ran out hot water in my r. v. I have minor problem I just sent message my pressure relief valve says goes on cold side when tank gets hot water comes out over flow hotter it gets more water that comes out now i turn ot down in between showers bought 10 ft water line ran it in my water storage tank its now running over just cant see how hot water pressure can build up on cold side before it even goes in tank for warranty reasons kept it same ask for another valve home depot only has half inch on up mines a 3/8 lineI highly recommend this unit ive had those china propane heaters big hassell just plug mine in wall outlet bought 2 flex water lines with cut off both ends bout $25 each quick connect in case ever goes out still around $200 mot bad just 30 gallon tank runs over $600 unreal had mine guessing several months dont have control anything others more water pressure less hot water n auto cut off every 15 min on propane units get metal flex lines install its a winner besides pressure valve its coming off when warranty expires
