Definitely worth what you pay it. Handle swivels to make side cuts easier. 6 speed manual settings. Works just as good if not better than my dewalt.

This is my first reciprocating saw. I found the manual a bit lacking in features and explaining how to use the saw. I guess they assume you are already familiar with reciprocating saws. I like that it comes with five blades. The blade assortment is good for someone starting out. There are two blades for metal and four for wood. I'm unclear what the fifth and longest blade is for. I did seek out a few YouTube videos to learn more about the saw. After using this power tool, I had a couple of challenges. The top issue is that when you grab the saw at the handle, there is not enough room for my whole hand to grab the tool. This caused me to either have three fingers and my thumb holding the saw. My hand strength was insufficient to hold the saw safely. To add the help of my index finger it lands on the trigger to turn on the blade action. Other power tools that I use, like a circular saw, I can hold the tool with my right hand without turning on the device. I choose when to move my index finger to the on trigger which starts the blade. The saw came on several times before I wanted to have the blade engage and often after the cut I had a hard time getting my finger off the trigger so the blade continued to move much longer than I wanted it to move. For me, enabling a full hand to grasp the saw without turning on the blade when picking it up would improve the design. Other than that, the saw did what it was supposed to. I know this type of saw is mostly used for demolition, and I was cutting up tree limbs that were two to four inches in diameter. It did a sufficient job.

What a deal! I don't know how reliable it will be over time but straight out of the gate, this reciprocating saw is worth the money to buy. You'd pay more to rent one from a tool supplier. It's a good size and it has a reasonable weight to it so it feels like it's a quality tool. It came with a couple of blades and it works really well for its size. The blades are sharp and cut really well.
