  • Great value for money!
Size: Large
I'm 6'2" and the largest frame is the perfect size! I'd only ever used gear shifters mounted to the handlebars prior to purchasing this bike, but the frame mounted shifters were fairly easy to get used to. They actually feel sturdier than any shifters I've used previously, and I've not yet needed to tune them in 4 months of riding. The wheel alignment was surprisingly good straight out of the box. I usually expect to have to make adjustments with these cheap bikes from China, but tweaking a few spokes in the rear wheel was all it took to make both wheels true. If you don't own a spoke wrench, I recommend getting this assembled at a professional bike store. To the multiple commenters complaining about the pedal/crank arms falling off - this is operator error. You need a socket wrench to screw the cranks on REALLY tight, and a regular wrench to get the pedals REALLY tight. I made this mistake with the first bike I bought my wife from Walmart. Once they start to loosen, the thread gets more damaged with every rotation of the pedals. In that case, I had to replace the crank - not the end of the world, and lesson learned; I now tighten the pedals and cranks on really hard, and have had no problem since. If you're on the fence about buying this bike because of the negative reviews, I would encourage you to go for it! If you know how to assemble a bike you won't be disappointed. FYI my daily commute is 12.5 miles each way, mostly on roads and a few paved trails. I bought 25mm gatorskin continental tires at the same time as the bike (the cheap tires that come with these bikes are hopeless for commuting in the DC region - you'll get a puncture every week). It makes my commute a lot more fun! ... show more

  • Cool bike for the money.
Size: Large
I will proide a throughout reiew for this bike. 1. Compare to other cheap bike, this bike is pretty light. It's about 26.5 lb. 2. Both the frame and the folk are good in quality. 3. Quick release for both wheels. 4. breaking is good enough for commuter riders. I am a person who want to turn a cheap bike into a higher level bike and below is my upgrade experience. 1. I change the old handle bars (820g) to a carbon fiber bar (240g). In order to do so, I also buy a stem and stem adaptor (150g + 150g) to replace the original stem (320g) to fit my new handle bar. When changing the handlebar, the break lever is a little bit tricky to pull off and reinstall but it is doable. 2. I change the original tubes and tires (300g inflated tube + 500g tire) to a 200g tube and 240 g tire for both wheels. 3. The wheelsets are good in quality and comparitively light in weight (1kg front + 1.2kg rear) but I also change it to oval wheelset which is (720g front + 920g rear). 4. I change the original seat (310g) and seat post (300g) to carbon (210g + 190g). 5. Unfortunately, the bb is square taper which limit my upgrade space and the cassette is 7s which is not great for update. The overall update save around 1.8 kg which make it a 22 lb road bike. This bike is good for update but not great for update because of the bb and speed limitation. ... show more

  • Somewhat overpriced at 499
Size: Medium
Easy to assemble. Basic Shimano drivetrain. Kickstand was not included. Tires are 700x28cc, not 25cc as listed. Brake levers silver, not black as pictured. Overpriced at $499. A bargain at $147.

  • Nothing but a nightmare and won't honor warranty on defect known to them since 2017
Size: Medium
This bike has been nothing but an absolute nightmare. First it came with missing parts that took two requests and a month to receive from the mfg. Almost as if they purposely delayed sending till after the return period had expired on Amazon. Next within days of getting the missing parts and being able to ride it, the second time I rode it the crankshaft stripped and the pedal broke because the pedal arm was not properly threaded by the manufacturer. Not even three miles on this bike and now told by bike shop I should just throw it away because there are so many defects. Got stuck with a real piece of junk buying this bike. Brand new and less than three miles on it and it's already in a state where it can't operate. UPDATE: Upon further research on the internet I have found two consistent things, #1) that the same defect on my bike is a common defect that has been documented by many consumers and known to this company since 2017 (Giordano is manufactured by Kent Bicycles) Some of the defects have caused serious injury to riders, so I should at least be grateful that I didn't break my neck on this horrible quality China made piece of junk and #2) that this company does not honor their warranty and in fact won't even respond to their emails. When I took this bike to my local bike shop I was told that my best bet was to throw it away and buy a new bike from a reputable company. Seems the bike shop has seen defective and sub par bikes from this company before. ... show more

  • Good value.
Size: Large
This bike assembled easily. I suspect other reviewers who have had issues with pedal cranks may have stripped the reverse thread, I nearly did the same. It is a reverse thread - be careful. One small part, from front brake caliper had come loose in the box, and although the box was fairly well beat up the bike was straight and undamaged due to good packing. This was one of the lowest priced aluminum frame road bikes on Amazon - and represents reasonable value and quality, but it is a low cost option. It rides well, I changed out the pedals for ones with clips, I do find the overall gearing a little low, but it rides straight with no issues or noises. It's light, and for a casual rider more than adequate. ... show more

  • Decent bike for the price
Size: Small
The hike itself is a decent bike for the price, but use caution when buying online. The box was torn up upon receipt, and the bike itself was pretty banged up. The decals were scraped up because part of the box had ripped open. And one of the parts was bent (I’m guessing from shipping or possibly manufacturing issue). A local bike shop as able to heat it and bend it back into shape pretty easily. Assembly is a bit of a pain, but now that we’ve got it together, it rides nicely and we are pleased with it. Make sure to follow assembly instructions very carefully. ... show more
