These were quick to break in and replaced a pair of Glycerin 22 standard shoes for running. The GTS version is apparently what I needed - lower leg/ankle tendon issues have calmed down, I have no knee pain or achilles issues (both problems that drove me to Brooks running shoes years ago), and the heel fits comfortably on both feet while still being able to accommodate an insole I have to wear in one shoe to offset a difference in leg length. I've been able to return to running with the Glycerin GTS 22. I will buy more of this model!

I'm a fat guy, I was looking for a basic everyday walking shoe and was buying sight-unseen (local stores don't tend to carry much of anything in 14 wide). This model was recommended as the best overall running shoe by RunRepeat for heavy men. I don't really do a whole lot of running, but I do a fair bit of indoor walking at work, and needed a shoe that I could rely on to be comfortable all day. Two big positives for me are the foam sole (and I mean the sole, not the insole - it feels like you're kinda walking on a cloud, but with regular shoes) and the great breathability. I'm sick of buying shoes that are half-leather (or pleather) and just get gross in hot weather. That shouldn't be a problem with these, since almost the entire shoe is made of a lightly cushioned mesh. My only complaint is the shoe feels a little unstable side-to-side, like I'm at risk of rolling my ankle, although I've had other shoes that suffer this problem much worse. I think that's just me getting used to the tall sole. I got the orange and black and added some neon orange elastic no-tie laces, they've become my favorite shoe. FWIW, I also use a very thick insole (Powerstep ProTech Control) and it's a little tight but it loosened up after a week or two, so if you are worried about insoles, just give it a bit to adjust to your foot.

This is a tough one for me, upon receiving the shoes and opening them , I put my hand in each one like I usually do to feel the insole and immediately felt sand in both of them. . There’s maybe a couple of light scuff marks or dirt just in the inside the shoe. After trying them on they did feel really comfortable. I’ve never spent $165,00 on a pair of shoes and didn’t expect issues. The shoe box was in pretty good shape but not with out a few tears, the shoes didn’t have any tags or paper in the toe of the shoes like other brands I’ve bought. I elected to do a return instead. I’m not sure if I’ll order from Amazon or try to find a pair locally.

Comfortable and simple. Incognito if you will. Feels like walking on pillows though. Feet won't overheat while walking in the sun. Very breathable. Definitely recommend for tthise with foot neuropathy.

This is an outstanding shoe! I this particular pair a lot. These are my go to for everything from 30lbs x 5miles on the pavement to shopping for toothpaste at the grocery store. They are the most comfortable shoe I’ve owned.
