70 chunks of pure fire starting power that can be used in lieu of that nasty charcoal starter fluid. These fire starters are an essential part of any bug-out bag or emergency kit. They can be used in fireplaces, to start campfires, and to light barbecues. Toss a few into your backpack in case you need a quick fire while camping. Made of hardwood and I am guessing some type of natural wax, these don't smell bad and don't leave your food tasting nasty or chemical-y. You simply take 1-3 fire starters and put them under your wood or charcoal briquets. Light each starter on the side. (I use long matches or electronic matches) These are supposed to work even if the weather is wet and windy. I have used fire starters for years and no longer need to store dangerous liquid starter in my shed. Good, solid, useful product.

I like to have fire starters handy for the grill, as well as when camping. They help to, well..., get the fire started. There are many different versions of these available on Amazon, I have tried many, and I can attest that these are pretty standard. They do the job as expected. I do like how many (70pcs) come in this one box, which makes them slightly better than brands that only come with 20-30pcs. These are worth a try.

I ordered this 70 pack of natural fire starters mostly for our emergency supplies. I am very happy to discover that they don’t smell, they do seem all-natural, and are very compact to store. When I tested one out it lit very quickly and stayed lit for nearly 10 min! These will be handy for when we go camping or start a fire in our backyard pit. I would highly recommend these and may pick up another box!

For my wood stove, I always had to use bunch of newspapers and several brown papers or any other stuff that can catch on fire with my lighter to make fire. And it always took several tries to get the fire to be stable. This one saves much more time and makes starting fire much easier. It just need one try. Simple. I'll just keep this away from the stove or any sort of fire because they can't catch fire really really well .

So after watching Nav1gamer and Kent Survival I wanted to try these out. They lit right away even after dripping some water on them. They stayed lit while I laid some tinder down. I did use a lighter however vs a striker. Overall very happy with these.
