The plug end of the 7-way connector on a used travel trailer we purchased wasn't making a solid connection. It was just worn out and need to be replaced. This replacement appears to have copper clad aluminum wires, strong rubber coating. The terminal connection is good and snug like it should be. This is a good value and a quality replacement part.

A solid trailer wiring whip. No instructions or wiring diagrams are included, but re readily available online. The wire appears to be copper instead of copper clad aluminum. Terminals are snug and it takes a bit to seat it in the truck’s receptacle. Time will tell how well it holds up to salt and winter muck. Here is how I rate items: 5 Stars = Exceeds all expectations, A definite buy! (Very Rare) 4 Stars = Very good find, you should definitely give it a shot. 3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised. 2 Stars = A little scary, possibly OK, it may work out. 1 Stars = Avoid this product, not worth the effort.

I use this on a large (24 foot car hauler) trailer that has aux braking and an aux brake battery to charge in addition to the common interior lighting and tail/brake lights; this is very nicely constructed, and feels like it'll hold up to my abuse and the weather. The wire/tubing length is good to reach to the existing wires on my trailer, and the plug fits my existing 7 pin connector. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

I received this product at no charge in exchange for an honest review as part of the Amazon Vine program. I got this to replace the connector on my trailer that the rodents chewed up. This seems to be a good quality part and the connector works great. The sockets are double sided and make much better contact than the cheap connector I had on the trailer before. The insulation is very heavy duty and seems like it will stand up to abuse. I have been using this on my trailer for several months now and it doesn't show any wear at all. I did have to do a little figuring out when I wired this up, because the wire colors on this connector did not match up to the wire colors on my trailer, but that was pretty easy to figure out. Overall I am very happy with this and would buy again if I need another in the future.

I got this to replace another trailer wire that had some of the outer rubber shell get cut from my pin box when I was installing a new trailer hitch... I had the height on a low setting testing it out and it just rubbed my old cable enough to barely cut into the cable. I've since made quite a few adjustments and no longer have to worry about that. While electrical tape worked, I wanted a replacement so I didn't even have to worry about it. This cable is great. The quality is as good or better than my original. It's a great replacement and it came in good shape. It seems like it will be very durable because it's made really well. It's not a bad price either!

This was a perfect fit for my 2016 Summerland mini camping trailer that we forgot to wrap the original cord some and ended up dragging and damaging it. This was easy to install with no modifications needed and worked perfectly.

The wire is a good quality copper. The terminals are a tight fit. The 7-pin configuration, and 6-foot length making it versatile.
