Great quality for the price. Not child sized but you can make it work for a youth size 12 and up. It looked great and got so many compliments. the ties started to unravel at the ends made it a little hard to get through the cuffs for the wrists. Will do great for a couples of seasons wear.

This set is really nice and well-made. It was easy to get on and worked well for a Viking cosplay I did with my friends. The belt and gauntlets can be adjusted to fit both smaller and larger sizes. The gauntlets are easy to lace up, and the belt is super easy to adjust and wear. The pouch that came with this set has really awesome runes carved into it that give way to the overall Viking vibe that I was going for. The latch on it stays closed when you are moving around a lot, so you do not have to worry about anything spilling out. I was able to fit my wallet, phone, and keys in it during the faire, along with some other trinkets that I was given. The sword holder can be used for multiple things as well. I was able to fit my gourd in it, which was great, and gave me access to my water at all times. It can also fit a dagger, sword, or fan. It is a very versatile piece to have on your belt. I really like this costume accessory kit. The bag is very convenient and the latch stays closed so you do not have to worry about your stuff spilling out. The material is good quality for being faux leather. It feels like real leather. The bracers are a little stiff at first but they loosen up over time. The belt is nice and long and the patterns on everything is really cool. The sword holder is nice and can be used to hold your parasol or fan as well. ... show more

I purchased this set to use as part of a ren faire costume. First the Pros: *Nice appearance, love the color and texture *The pouch and weapon holder are perfect size for carrying trinkets and a small dagger *I love the appearance and quality for the price Cons: *It was clearly made for a petite person. I am fairly petite woman and half the items were too large *The wrist guards are so big, I am unable to adjust them to stay in place. It simply can not be tightened enough. The holes are not adjustable and they are too big. I ended up cutting them to make them work *The belt is also big and it drapes akwardly. It is hard to tighten and won't stay knotted properly. I like the overall look of the items. The posting states that the item is unisex, but lacks the ability to adjustment it enough for someone with a smaller body type, especially the arm guards. ... show more

I am putting a costume together for a concert with my daughters where the fans come dressed up in a Renaissance vibe, and this fits the bill exactly. The pouch is awesome with the double dragons and the clasp that really makes the whole set stand out. The stitching of the pouch is sturdy so I can actually use the bag for my phone or wallet without worrying about things falling out or the seams breaking open. The leather material is perfect for my outfit because it has the exact look I want and a durable feel. It is strong enough that I don't have to worry about it tearing or getting ruined if we end up standing outside in the rain during the show. The sleeves lace up from the underside of the arm, and they're easy to take on and off. I'm a big guy and these fit me great, but the arm cuffs adjust easily with the laces for any size of arm. The belt is also plenty long enough to wrap around my torso with room to spare. The embossed patterns look authentic. I'm really happy with how this completes the look and it feels like it'll last through plenty of other events too. ... show more
