Was a bit tricky to figure out how to do the arm and chest piece, but once we figured it out it fit well. Belt is a little too stiff, but nothing some heat couldn't loosen up. Everything looks a bit cheap, but that's to be expected at this price point. Overall, not bad as it is being used to accessorize for our very first ren faire, so we will just upgrade as we see fit. (Hubs is typically a size L/XL with broad shoulders and it fit him well with room to make adjustments!) ... show more

Great quality for the price. Not child sized but you can make it work for a youth size 12 and up. It looked great and got so many compliments. the ties started to unravel at the ends made it a little hard to get through the cuffs for the wrists. Will do great for a couples of seasons wear.

I ordered this set of Renaissance costume accessories for my teenage daughter to wear to the fair, and it worked out perfectly. Even though the pieces are made of faux leather, they looked fantastic once she put everything together. The set includes two arm covers, a belt, a belt loop attachment, and a pouch that clips onto the belt—everything she needed to complete her outfit without spending a fortune. The quality was better than I expected for the price, and the pieces held their shape and looked great throughout the day. It was a solid value. The only small snag is that it’s advertised as a seven‑piece set, but that’s only if you count the arm‑piece laces as separate items. Realistically, it’s a five‑piece set. Even so, it’s still a great bundle and absolutely worth it for a Renaissance fair costume. Everything was easy to 'assemble' and put on. While she's only 13, we were able to get everything to fit well. This set is really nice and well-made. It was easy to get on and worked well for a Viking cosplay I did with my friends. The belt and gauntlets can be adjusted to fit both smaller and larger sizes. The gauntlets are easy to lace up, and the belt is super easy to adjust and wear. The pouch that came with this set has really awesome runes carved into it that give way to the overall Viking vibe that I was going for. The latch on it stays closed when you are moving around a lot, so you do not have to worry about anything spilling out. I was able to fit my wallet, phone, and keys in it during the faire, along with some other trinkets that I was given. The sword holder can be used for multiple things as well. I was able to fit my gourd in it, which was great, and gave me access to my water at all times. It can also fit a dagger, sword, or fan. It is a very versatile piece to have on your belt. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of this set, and I look forward to using it more! ... show more

Overall, for the price the set is fine. The leather looks plasticky, it has a tendency to crease in unappealing ways. The bracers are difficult to adjust properly, and take a lot of working before they will keep their shape. The belt is not as long as depicted, it's roughly 63" long, but after you do the "knot" to secure it there's only about 4 or 5 inches of stickout. Those were all the negatives I identified. They are not major concerns. Due to the price of the set I feel as though these issues can be mostly ignored. If Anything I mentioned above sounds concerning to you I'd recommend finding a more expensive set, as it'll be better made. This is really only good for a quick costume, not for reenacting or anything of that sort. ... show more
