I'm basically obsessed with this thing. The screen is higher quality than I expected and super bright. I'm so glad it's rechargeable and portable because the kids bring it everywhere. You don't need the stand if you don't want to, but it's nice to have if you are running a bunch of things under it (I have coins, and the kids have... everything from outside). The focus is actually really solid and easy to use, and can focus on objects right up to the lens to get super close. The first thing I did was put it on my pants and you can see every little thread. The kids bring it outside to look at leaves and bark and grass and bugs. So fun, really glad we purchased this.

I was amazed how easy this digital microscope went together, and by using 2 usb cords provided, I was able to start using my new microscope to look at coins for errors that are impossible to see with a magnifying glass. Two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼 100% satisfied customer

This is a well built soldering microscope platform and almost a keeper. A couple of things not obvious with the pics at the top of this page. I like that you can take pics and video with the remote-control and screen is sharp and clear. Light brightness is adjustable on the stand -- nice. The not-so-good. #1: The focusing-Ring works very well, it is smooth and light to the touch, but, the depth of field when focused is very tiny, maybe a millimeter at best. This makes it tricky to get a clear focus as you tweak the knob back and forth the tiniest of amounts. When soldering a focused resistor and you move to a crystal or inductor etc, about 2mm or 3mm higher it is out of focus a little. Still, good enough to solder but annoying having to deal with the visibly fuzzy edges and unable to read the writing without focus-Ring adjustment. #2: The range of the UP/DOWN adjustment is very short and a very poor design. Turning the knob at the back only has about 1-1/4" of total-travel. Beyond that you have to move the entire screen-unit up and down on the stand-post. Then lock it in the new position and go back to the knob short-travel for fine adjustment. You find rough focus on the post, then use the knob to get closer to the focus and finally the focus-Ring for a sharp image. This might be OK for coins etc where using the just the knob is more than enough travel. But, if you have a PCB stack and need to solder on the top board an inch up, you have to move it up/down on the main post. The pics at the top do not show this height adjustment mechanism so I assumed it just used the rack-and-pinion system of others similar products that span the full height of the stand-post. Sadly this one does not and it is too cumbersome for my use.

Decent quality battery powered microscope, also can record on a sd card, works great for some hobbys that requires microscope, in my case using it to start in smd components soldering, comes with charging cable but no power adapter.

Having kids with phones, they are bound to break and rather than buying a new phone, I usually just buy the replacement screen on Amazon for like $25 and try to replace it myself. My gripe about it is father-time is catching up with me and my eyes aren’t as sharp as they were before. I tried getting those jewelers eye piece, but the view is limiting and it’s annoying after 5 min. I saw this on sale and I got it because I wanted something I can view without having to wear or squint. I have to say that this was a great investment for those DIYers that do tiny models or for screen replacement. I can finally see the tiny screws that Apple use and I won’t strip the screw head because of the wrong screw size. The screen is not top quality 4k or even close to it, but it’s enough for me to see well. It’s bright enough and I like that it comes with focused light when you turn it on. There is 4x zoom and focus. Very good purchase for me.

I really bought this for my kids. Although it says for adults. Kids love this. The lense adjusts so well and shows very detailed accurate object. I really love a few things here 1. The price point is super low 2. Material of the product is acceptable 3. Functional aspects of product are great 4. LCD is not HD but its very clear and again acceptable.
