My car is a little older, and the original radio was starting to feel outdated. I mainly wanted Apple CarPlay so I could use navigation without constantly looking at my phone, and this stereo has completely changed the driving experience. Now I just start the car, and Apple CarPlay pops up automatically. I don't have to plug my phone in every single trip anymore, which is much more convenient when I'm just running errands around town. The screen is bright and easy to read, even in the middle of the afternoon when the sun is shining through the windshield. The touchscreen is responsive, and the icons are large enough that I can quickly tap what I need while parked. Google Maps and Apple Maps both look sharp, and the directions are much easier to follow than using a phone mounted on the dashboard. One of my favorite features is the voice control. Instead of reaching for my phone, I can simply ask Siri to call my wife, send a quick text that I'm on my way home, or start a playlist. It makes driving feel much safer because my hands stay on the steering wheel and my eyes stay on the road. The Bluetooth connection has also been excellent. Phone calls sound clear on both ends, and everyone I've talked to says they can hear me well even while I'm driving on the highway. Streaming music has been smooth without any annoying disconnects. I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate the backup camera until I started using it every day. The picture is clear, even in the evening, and parking in tighter spaces has become much less stressful. It's especially helpful when backing out of crowded parking lots where it's difficult to see behind larger vehicles. The sound quality was another pleasant surprise. I didn't replace my factory speakers, but music already sounds cleaner and fuller than it did with my old stereo. After adjusting the EQ for my preferences, everything from podcasts to classic rock sounds noticeably better. The Type-C charging port is another small feature that has made a big difference. My phone charges much faster than it did with my old car charger, so even a short drive gives me a decent battery boost. After using this stereo for several weeks, it honestly feels like I'm driving a newer vehicle. been running this in my car for a few days now and it's holding up pretty well for the long shifts i work. the 7, inch screen is bright and easy to read even in direct sunlight, which matters when you're checking navigation constantly. colors look sharp and the viewing angle is wide enough that i can glance over and still see the map clearly. touch responsiveness is decent. taps register right away most of the time, though occasionally it takes a second or two to respond when i'm trying to switch between apps or adjust the volume. nothing that's caused me any real issues yet, just minor lag here and there. the wireless carplay connection has been stable. my phone pairs up without fussing and stays connected through my whole shift. the few times i switched back to wired carplay, that worked fine too. voice control through siri is helpful when i need directions without looking at the screen. the backup camera is clear, especially at night. the 1080p makes a real difference when you're backing into tight parking spots or driveways. the parking lines are adjustable which is nice because different vehicles need different angles. night vision kicks in automatically and i can actually see what's behind me instead of just a dark blob. audio quality is pretty good. the 5, band eq lets me dial in the sound how i want it. calls come through clear on the speakers and music doesn't sound tinny like some cheaper units. the bluetooth 6.0 connection is solid for streaming. the type c fast charging port is genuinely useful when my phone is running low during a long day. charges faster than standard ports. having both usb and type c means i can keep devices charged without hunting for different cables. installation took some time and the wiring diagram helped, but if you're not comfortable with car electronics you might want someone else to handle it. overall this feels like a legit step up from the stock stereo.

When passengers ride with me the wireless screen mirroring feature on this double din car stereo lets us send videos or photos from a phone right to the main display. It creates a shared view that everyone can watch together instead of passing a small screen back and forth. The QLED IPS Touchscreen keeps the picture sharp and the colors look natural even with daylight coming in through the windshield. People in the front and back can follow along because of how wide the viewing angle goes. The touch response on the screen feels quick when I need to adjust something during the cast.I tried it with a navigation app during one drive and the route showed up big enough for my friend to see and point out turns if I missed one. The audio from the mirrored content came out of the car speakers clearly and I could still use the regular radio controls if I wanted to switch sources. It turned a regular drive into something more social where we could laugh at a clip or discuss what we saw on the way to our destination. Music apps also mirror fine if we want to share a playlist and see the album art large.The fast charging worked at the same time so the phone sending the content did not lose power even after an hour or more of use.
