I’ve been using this head unit for a few weeks now, and overall I’m very happy with the purchase. The screen looks sharp and responsive, Bluetooth connects quickly, and features like CarPlay/Android Auto make driving much more convenient compared to a factory radio. Sound quality is a noticeable step up from my original unit, and once everything is set up, daily use feels smooth and intuitive. For the price, it delivers a lot of modern functionality that you usually only see in more expensive systems. That said, I do want to mention one important thing for anyone considering buying this. While this unit does meet the standard double DIN size on paper, it is slightly larger than many basic aftermarket stereos you might be used to. In my case, the issue wasn’t the unit itself, but the vehicle’s dash design. My car’s deck opening wasn’t perfectly square or deep enough, so the fit was tighter than expected. Because of that, installation may require a bit more effort depending on your vehicle. You may need to carefully sand or trim the mounting bracket or dash opening to get a clean, flush fit. It’s nothing extreme, but it’s definitely something to be aware of before purchasing—especially if your car has an older or more uniquely shaped dashboard. My advice: measure your dash opening carefully and compare it with the product’s listed dimensions before ordering. If you’re comfortable with light modification or have access to installation tools, this shouldn’t be a deal breaker at all. Once installed properly, the unit works great and feels like a worthwhile upgrade. Overall, this is a very capable and well-priced head unit. I think people should be skeptical of 'vine' reviews. Sometimes I think free product skews how someone may be willing to actually test and review. This product, while it does work, it does have some trade offs. Audio is not nearly as loud at the OEM radio, tends to sound blown out with cranking it up, and that's with the loudness off, and eq settings flat. One speaker doesn't work with this radio, but works with the oem radio. Everything is connected, unsure if this is an issue internally on the unit. When in a call, there appears to be no way to get back to the home screen or any other screen, you're locked in a call. Not a huge fan of that. Other radios still let you navigate settings while in a call. This is also not a true double din. It's slightly larger. Making fitting into dash kit a pain. That's the issue I had with these vine reviews. They aren't real work testing. Putting the radio on a bench and connecting speakers to it isn't testing it the same way someone on a budget would be using this. If you're crafty, don't care much about sound quality, you're ok with sub par mic quality, and just need it for maps. Then this will probably be just fine. I didn't bother with the camera, or any of the extra bits. I only cared about the radio, sound and making sure wireless and wired Android auto worked. Which did they. Unit in general is not horrible. Not sure if mine is defective but unless I turn the unit off by the power button before turning off my truck, it will have no sound the next time I start my truck. CarPlay is okay when it works but the stereo constantly loses connection to my phone. If i factory reset the stereo it will be okay for a day or two before it starts doing it again. Screen quality is Surprisingly really good for the price point and the screen size is not bad. The screen however is very responsive and easy to use and looks very vibrant. Radio works great other than while trying to use the Waze app on Apple CarPlay. The map freezes, pixelates, causes the radio to freeze and restart.
