This rug exceeded my expectations. It was even more beautiful than pictured! I ordered the 5x7 in blue. The design has varying shades of blue with grey and white throughout the rug. Additionally, there is a faded like appearance in areas, giving it that beautiful, worn vintage type of appeal With this type of design, you aren’t going to see dirt and lint like you do on some rugs. This rug also has a soft silky feel when walking on it in bare feet. It doesn’t feel like regular carpet, which has a rough texture. This is very smooth. I actually couldn’t stop running my hand over it when I first put it in the floor. It’s very soothing to the touch. The underside of this rug has a light non-slip rubber like backing that keeps the rug in place, for the most part. I do have a chair that sits on the rug, helping to keep it in place. It does however, wrinkle a bit in places occasionally. This may be due to my husband moving the chair around a bit when watching TV. However, I just smooth it out when that happens..not a big deal. I would like to note that this is a thinner type of rug. It’s not like your heavier carpet types. Although, this was one of the factors I liked when I chose this rug (aside from its beauty). It is machine washable and is lightweight enough to just toss in the washing machine when needed. No need to use a carpet shampooer or steamer. And, if you are someone who does like the thicker rugs, you can easily buy carpet padding to place underneath. Additionally, you may want to place this in an area that doesn’t have heavy foot traffic. If you do, you may want to place a rug gripper underneath. As stated above it does have a light rubber like backing. But I don’t think it would hold up someplace that is heavily traveled without having extra grip. I have to say that I am very pleased with this rug. It’s one of the most beautiful ones I have had. I just can’t yet attest to its durability, but will give an update on how it’s holding out from time to time. Definitely recommend!

The rug is decent quality. Lightweight and washable low pile. For certain it is as the ad describes it to be. It is lovely, too. However, the colors are very bright. The colors in the pictures appear muted, very muted which is what I wanted. In person, the rug I received is brightly colored. The yellow is vibrant, deep bright purple, shades of pink. This is more for a kids room or lively dorm, than for my muted tones home. I reviewed the pictures in the ad. If you want a better idea of the color check out this one. The closest one is in the third pic, on the bottom, close up. See my pics, too.

I have a few rugs of this style and I really like them. They arrive folded which is a bit surprising to open, but after laying flat for a day or so, the creases go away and you've got a really nice thin rug that stays put. This is really great for a high traffic area or if you've got a spot where a door needs to swing. The surface isn't soft as in padded, but it is velvety and feels great on your feet. The pattern is printed rather than woven in so it's really more the effect of a traditional rug than an actual traditional rug. :)

Tastefully worn look, thin but very soft with nonslip backing The 5x7’ area rug is super soft with a rubber backing. The 5x7’ is machine washable in a 3.8 cubic feet washing machine or any commercial washing machine. The rust and green colors are faded to make it look old-world antique but it is new and fresh and clean. The rubber backing prevents slippage of the rug and it is extremely comfortable and soft to walk on. I love the look and I am very happy with this washable rug that can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and thrown into a washing machine!

I just moved into a condo with all white carpet. I needed a large area rug to cover as much floorspace as possible in my office and this 5’ x 7’ one seemed ideal. This rug is printed to look like what I call an old faded “merchant’s rug” like I used to see in little sidewalk stores in Philadelphia and New York City when I was a little girl. The print is well done, the colors are nice and bright, it's very soft, and I like the size of the rug but I’m not thrilled with the overall quality and functionality. It’s very thin and won’t stay flat. The edges are easy to kick up and it wrinkles and moves around when you walk across it. I will need to get a rubber rug stay to put under it. I like the concept and the nostalgia of the design, but the execution and quality fell a bit short for me. I really need something a bit thicker and sturdier that will stay in place.

It should have been brown and green, but really, it is brown and blue. Also, the way it was packed, the edge on one side was rolled up so tight that I could not get it to lay flat—the whole edge. That is disappointing. Other than that, the sizing is good and soft to walk on. The print is pleasing. Have not tried machine washing it yet so cannot speak on that. Overall ... no real regrets.
