I LOVE these blending tools! I have used many other tools for soft pastel, oil pastel, and various mark making in painting, but these are truly fantastic for pastels of any type. You can just use a stiff paper towel to wipe off the cotton wool end to clean & start a new color...haven't tried washing them yet but seems that is possible also. One thing I did learn is that you should use the wool blend tip first to be sure you have the right amount of pastel down and then use the black sponge tip to do required blending. Don't over do either...work slowly & watch as you work. Also don't press too hard at an angle when using the very small size tool...I broke the cotton wool tip doing that but I have glued it back in and hope that will hold for use. These are great...you won't be sorry if you try them!

These are working wonderfully for me. I use them in addition to traditional tools like stumps and they add another depth. There is a mild inconsistency when me the size but it’s not a dealbreaker. If I had to suggest improvement , I’d say the stiffer side (white) could stand to be more pointed on the smallest size. That would be nice for fine details.. still happy with this product overall.
