Wow I was surprised how bright this small little led light was after I installed it. It was very easy and quick to install and things were straightforward with the white and black wires. You can also adjust the color temperature which was very handy and suited me well for the hallway.

Previous bathroom LED "dome" light fixture died and I replaced it with this flush mount light. Installation of this light was super easy versus getting the old fixture removed was a pain. Turn off power to the light fixture/electrical box. Remove any pre-existing hardware from previous light fixture from the electrical box. Attach the mounting ring to the box with the two provided screws. Snake the two electrical wires through the center of the mounting ring and connect the light fixture wires with the provided wing nuts - my electrical connection had two wires connected to each other, so I had reuse the larger wire nut to connect one of the light fixture wires. Push the wires back into the box if necessary, put light fixture on mounting ring and twist to lock into place. If the light color isn't the one you want, twist the light fixture to remove from the mount and move the switch inside the light to one of the other two settings. I chose the softer whitish color. The light output is very good and is brightest directly under the light. I was surprised that the light does not have a ground connection. ... show more

The fluorescent lights over my desk alcove stopped working a long time ago and they are a hassle to troubleshoot and fix. I decided to pitch the florescents and go with LED. Wow! Removal and installation was less than 5 minutes with this flush mount ceiling light! I set the color temperature to 4k and it is a better color for my tastes and the light is much brighter too. The mounting plate screwed right up to the ceiling junction box with no issues at all. Wire nuts are provided to make the connections. Note: the fixture does not connect to the ground wire since it's plastic. The last step is to place the light against the mounting plate and give it a slight turn to lock it together. I've gotten 3 of these recently from different sellers with different brand names. Every single one is identical to the other, right down to the label on the box it comes packed it in with only the brand name changing. That said, nothing wrong with any of them, including this one. Everything as expected. Tests just fine. Nice even light across the face, brightness seems to be on par with their rating. As I pointed out on one of the other identical ones I reviewed, the little switch that you use to change the color temp seems a little flimsy, but it works, and it's not something that will get used except rarely or even maybe just on install and it's protected, so not a big deal, just be careful with it when setting it initially. I plan to get a couple more of these to complete the upgrades. I have no complaints on this light and it works as advertised. ... show more
