This machine turns on, but doesn't have any suction at all. Its a complete waste of time to order something, and it doesn't work when it's received. Don't bother ordering it unless you have time to waste. This machine is getting returned. Update: I still have not been refunded my money. I don't recommend at all. 👎🏽👎🏽

Just bought this as a Christmas present for my 14 year old son to milk his few goats. I have lived on a cow dairy farm all of my life so I am familiar with milking equipment and processes on a larger scale but this is our first experience with a small unit such as this. Things that I liked: Variable speed vacuum to tweak the unit to each animal. Pulsation, which I feel is a must to help prevent mastitis. Battery powered so it is portable to be used where power may not be available. Easy to use. I already knew how to milk but a novice could easily master the process with this unit in no time. Things that I disliked: Battery does not appear to be replaceable. May be possible if you tear the unit apart. Overall quality of the milk pail seems cheap considering the price of the product. Ours came with small dimples and dents in it from what I assume was from shipping damage. Very thin metal. I don't think that the material is genuine stainless steel either. Instructions advise not to use chlorine based cleaners because will cause rust despite being advertised on Amazon as chemical resistant stainless steel. I reached out to the manufacturer support line via email for clarification since we use chlorine based cleaners for our commercial stainless steel milking equipment and never had any problem with rust. I never received a response which solidified my hunch that it is not quality stainless steel. A little disappointing that they don't stand behind their product enough to respond. Overall I am satisfied but feel that it is overpriced for the quality. We have used it less than a week so durability is yet to be determined. Update: I did receive a response from the manufacturer and clarification on why they suggest not to use chlorine based cleaners. Apparently a couple of people complained about rust so they included that in instructions out of caution. Update after over a year of use....unit has held up well so far with no major issues. The original pail has not rusted at all and the manufacturer graciously replaced our dented pail with their new and improved model which is a heavier gauge metal. Our unit holds a charge for about a week using it to milk several goats. We did lose a couple of screws that vibrated out of the vacuum unit but we had some spares that were included in the spare parts packet so no worries. Lesson learned, tighten screws every once in a while to prevent this in the future. I would recommend this product for anyone that has a small farm with a few animals

I absolutely love this machine. Works very well for my Nigerian Dwarf goats. Takes the stress out of hand milking and it’s an easy clean up. I don’t have power to my barn yet so the fact that it’s rechargeable is also great.

I had an older model for about 3 years before the motor gave up. I had planned to just buy a new motor, but when I saw all the improvements I opted for an entire new set up. This thing is AWESOME! I love that it now has a pressure gauge, so no more guessing if I'm causing my goats pain and I can trust other people to milk my goats. No more seems in the can which cause mild to grown. The can has a handle and plastic stickers labelling where to connect the hoses. The cleaner brush is in a spring so it doesn't get all crooked making it very difficult to clean tubes. The pulsation just automatically starts instead of having to press a button. Over all I am not disappointed in this machine or the cost of it. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend for those with hand issues. This is a game changer for me.

Do not purchase this machine without the pressure gauge, especially for goats. When we first received this machine we could not get the pressure above 20 regardless of what we did. This was not high enough to actually get milk from the goats. We contacted customer service and after quite a while they finally sent us a new pump. Again, the pressure would not go above 20. At this point, my partner decided to open up the pumps. THEY ARE NOT MADE TO BE TAKEN APART. Lots of pieces are glued. He was able to get it open and found a loose internal hose. He fixed it, closed things up, and now the milker works. The gasket can be difficult to get in place at times, but now that the pump is functional the machine does work well. It's easy to clean and makes milking multiple goats much easier. That said, this machine would have been useless if he hadn't been able to fix what is apparently a common manufacturing issue.

The product worked great for about 4 months, and then it just stopped working. I assume the internal battery failed. I contacted the manufacturer for replacement as it should still be covered under a one year manufacture warranty, but have not heard back from them. No not buy the battery powered version, buy the corded version. Let’s parts to break. That is if you have to buy from this company.
