Chuck is good quality for the price. Chuck was not balanced as received. I balanced the chuck in place using the lathe to spin chuck and adding small, stick on weights by trial and error until chuck ran smooth and then drill a small hole on OD to balance.

This chuck is strongly built and accurate, but a bit difficult to use. Having to tighten and loosen with two tools makes it more difficult to fasten a large item since two hands are required to tighten the chuck. Also the edges are a bit rough and even after taking it apart and oiling it, it has a few places that it hangs up and doesn't work smoothly. It's difficult to reverse the holding parts and get them to align properly, but once it's properly set up, it works fine.
