This folding table is plastic, the tabletop is wide enough to hold a 16-inch laptop, and my daughter loves to do crafts on this table. The legs can be folded easily and my 6 year old daughter can do it.

This bed tray table is exactly what I needed. I wanted one that was stable, durable, easy to clean, folded for storage, and had ample leg room underneath. This one checks all of those boxes and more. It is definitely not the prettiest thing in the world, but it is highly functional. I have tried buying the lovely wooden and bamboo trays, and although they look nice, I quickly tire of them as they just don't function well. I need a tray for being able to work on my laptop, crafts, and other tasks when I am unable to get out of bed. I have a serious illness that often leaves me bedridden for days on end. This tray has been a game changer for me. For your average person this tray is useful as well. Serving meals to a loved one just for the sake of love i.e. breakfast in bed would be easy for the server and comfortable for the recipient. For personal use it excellent as well. Working on your laptop, writing out paperwork, drawing, really any small task can be accomplished on this surface. The combination of size and stability are unmatched in any other similar product that I have tried. Ugly but unbelievably functional. Highest Recommendation.

This table is very sturdy. Not only can you use it for breakfast in bed, you can use it for working from home, or journaling, reading, the possibilities are endless. I an really enjoying mine!!

This is a great, portable lap desk! It is made from a very studry and heavy duty plastic that is easy to clean (wipe with a warm rag or with a wipe) and can withstand some rough use. My 180lb Cane Corso has flipped this, knocked it over and tossed it off the bed several times now and it hasn't cracked, chipped or shown any signs of distress at all. It is not made from the shiny hard plastic that kids toys are made from. The legs are very studry. They fold down easy so this stores away flat and they snap into place and stay there, so you don't have to worry about this collapsing on you/the legs giving out. They are long enough to get the entire body underneath with some wiggle room. This can hold some pretty serious weight too. The surface area is very generous, enough where you can use your laptop and have enough room for writing in a notebook on the side. I really appreciate the pencil holder, because those tend to get lost easy when working. I don't allow eating in bed, but I'm all about working from bed though. This makes a fantastic work station- on the bed, couch or on the floor. My daughter will often grab this when she is doing her homework or doing a craft like making bracelets. It's perfect because it elevates your work where you can actually see it. This is a very useful item to have around the house and it will get used often. We have another lap desk like this that was around the same pricepoint. On the other piece, the table top is adjustable. You can raise it up, at varying angles. It makes reading in bed easy and is just a nice feature to have. I assumed that this would do that too, but sadly the top is fixed flat and can't be adjusted. I feel like that is a missed opportunity with this piece and the reason I'm deducting a star. I really do live this piece though and think that it is something every house should have, especially if you have kids. You will be suprised at how much this gets used. A worthy investment for sure! This also makes a great gift too.

I love this for sitting up in bed and reading. I use the lap desk often for resting my book or holding my iPad. I've used it a few times for breakfast in bed while I sit up on a lazy Sunday reading. It has proved to be a wonderfully useful contraption to keep in my bedroom. I take it into the living room from time to time to use my laptop on the couch, but mostly it stays in my bedroom for use in there since I have a couple different options in the living room that are not available to me in the bedroom. It's very sturdy, so you can put a bit of pressure on it while you're reading without it collapsing. It stays pretty flat and level, so I've rested drinks on it from time to time and not had anything spill. The surface is smooth so if I were to decide to do any writing or sketching on the surface it would be fine. I think the true test will come when I'm sick and have to basically live in bed. I don't sleep all the time when I'm sick, I'm mostly sitting up reading or have something playing on my iPad, so this will be REALLY useful then. All in all, it's a great piece to have in the bedroom for any occasion.

Well I was not expecting it to be this solid. It says it will hold 250 lbs and I believe it! It';s not just a TV bed tray, It's a stepping stool and a bench to sit on too. And it's not so ridiculously heavy that you cant easily place it where you want it. I have been looking for a tray for a while but haven't found the right one. I think this one is a keeper. Its 2 ft wide and 16 inches deep and about 10 and a half feet high. So it's the perfect size for a TV tray. The problem all along has been the price point. They all are astronomically high priced and none of them seemed to have good sturdy legs or much stability. They all looked fragile. Like an accident waiting to happen. Or at least the ones that I could afford. I think this one will serve its purpose and then some. It is really put together good. Built to last. And the price is fair too. I am rating it 5 stars because I dont see any way to make it better. (except for maybe changing the color) But as far as craftsmanship and durability it certainly gets my vote.
