Perfect fit! Comes with all the tools to open and close the laptop - all you have to do is set aside the time, clear some space and in 15-20 mins, you're back to having a laptop that doesn't "poop out" way too soon from an exhausted battery.

EDIT: About 8 hours after I left my review, I was contacted by the seller through an Amazon chat. They apologized for the inconvenience and asked for my address, and they sent me a new battery free of charge, free 2 day shipping, no return needed. I installed the battery and now have a functional laptop again. Updating to 4 stars as the battery works just fine and I had no issues with installation. Customer Service def gets 5 stars in my book. Original Review: 1 star Battery nonfunctional out of the box. It fit perfectly, was the same type of battery, but when I transfered the cable to the new battery and installed it, laptop refused to boot from the battery. When turned on with power cable plugged in, booted fine, but as soon as I removed the power cable, laptop would shut down. I thought it may have been the internal power cable, but I plugged my old battery back up and had no issues. ... show more

Needed a new battery for a latitude 3520 that had a "battery not communicating" error. This battery showed up in less than 24 hours, the installation process took 5 minutes, turned it on before putting it all back together, and dell power manager shows "battery health: excellent" and charging no problem. I purchased this laptop battery expecting a reliable replacement, but it turned out to be completely useless. After installing it, I charged it to 100%, unplugged my laptop, and within five minutes, the battery died. Now, my laptop won’t even turn on! This is unacceptable for a product that’s supposed to extend my device’s life. Either I received a defective unit, or this battery is just poor quality.
