686 is my favorite clothing company, so I was super stoked when this came through my feed. As with everything they make, the quality is good and it's super stylish. In this case, the jacket runs a bit large, but they tell you that in the description. Do not buy this unless you like baggy clothes, as this is the opposite of slim fit. Think 90s snowboarder instead of your 2016 trip to Paris. This jacket is warm without overdoing it, and I'd feel comfortable using it as low as a few degrees below freezing. ... show more

Jacket was missing the dedicated "Phone heater pocket" outright. Attached is a photo of the missing feature. Will update review when the advertised jacket arrives. Update: The "inner phone pocket" as they described in the video is actually the outer left chest pocket and the retail version has nothing on the inside, just the inner right mesh pocket. There is also no cable loops for those who still use wired headphones and the lack of a lift pass pocket on the sleeve like their other models just makes this product as basic as basic can be and not worth it at this pricepoint. At least their customer service took the time to answer my questions. The sample jacket they used to advertise should be taken down so others don't waste their time like I unfortunately did. ... show more

Great quality ski jacket. Warm and comfortable with several pockets. It fits my husband with definite room that he can wear multiple layers under for outside activities. Not sure about the water resistance because he hasn't worn in the snow yet but the fabric definitely feels like it would be water resistant.
