I grew radishes, peas, strawberries and green bell peppers in these. The green bell peppers got to be too tall, so I had to transplant them outside, but they’re still doing fine. Caution! You MUST keep the hydroponic system topped off with water, because these sponges don’t allow roots to grow as long as some other growing mediums do.

I have a 3 pod aero garden and these fit perfectly for it. I have my own seeds from my garden I wanted to use so I ordered these. I haven’t had any issues with the seeds germinating and so far no mold growth. These were definitely worth the price to be able to use my own seeds. Works as expected!

I've been using these for a couple of months now and had good success in growing lots of different vegetables, including radishes and different types of lettuce. They're quite small so I'm able to use two in each hydroponic pot, which is actually quite useful. Recommended.

I planted about 20 different flowers and herbs 2 weeks ago in my Aerogarden using these “sponges”. Only 3 germinated so far though all should have by now given normal germination times. Even “weeds” like mint and basil have not sprouted at all, though they have never failed before using sponges from other suppliers and the seeds are all fresh. These sponges seem to be very dense, almost rubber like and the holes to add the seeds are rather shallow & wide, which probably isn’t drop & dark enough despite covering them with standard stickers & plastic covers. Seeds just turn mushy & greyish white. Basically a total waste of money - not only for the sponges but also the failed seeds and stickers. :(
