Why does it smell
Color: White
Assembly was not bad took me an hour by myself but its been two days and my whole basement smells weird. It was perfect for the space I needed it for but this smell is really overwhelming. I gave two stars only cause of the smell if not it would’ve been 5.

Cardboard
Color: White
I was very disappointed. The edges of the doors, and side plnels are wood. The centers of the doors and side panels are cardboard. If I had not cut up the box before I realized the cheapness of the product I would've sent it back. Instead I went to the lumber yard and got some small strips of wood and reenforced the side panels and doors. I would NOT recommend this product to any one.

Open the package, let all parts air out before assembly.
Color: White
I need a tall "slender" cabinet with doors/drawers at a very limited space for my baking gadgets and supplies, and this one in white is almost custom-made for that spot! The price can barely justify its size and quality, which I'll say is a bit better than average similars. Packing was good, unpacking was easy, instruction manual was on point and clear. The odor was obnoxious and lingered for about 48 hours after finishing assembly. Good advice is: if you don't need to set it up immediately, open the carton, spread all parts with their respective letters in small sticky discs UP against the wall on an utility blanket in a well ventilated sun room, porch or den (not your dining room or kitchen!) for 48 to 72 hours before you assemble it. It's a handsome piece with rooms for all my baking necessities. Kind advice: do install the tipover prevention anchor and long screw at the very top of it, because it's over 5' tall and slender, so if a small child grab the top shelf or even the middle drawer, the whole thing would be on top of him/her!
