Final Review (27 Feb 202: 6): Charger continues to function perfectly. Updating to five stars. Highly Recommend. First follow up for 31 October 2025: Charger continues to work like a champ! I am really appreciating the smaller form factor over the OEM charger. I haven't needed for my phone yet. I'm travelling for the holidays so the charger is residing in my laptop bag and comes out only when I need to recharge my laptop. 29 September 2025: This is my initial review of the Slim 65W charger focusing on packaging, whether or not the actual product matches what was advertised, reason for ordering and intended use, and last my prediction on product durability. I will try to provide monthly updates for 6 months addressing if the product is meeting expectations, any new uses discovered, review status (early termination or continue review) when I will provide my final review update and product recommendation at the 6 month review. I've uploaded photos of the Slim 65W Charger in its packaging, both closed and open. I also provide size comparisons of the charger to my OEM Lenovo 65W charger. Note that the Slim 65W Charger includes more charger options in terms of Volts/Amps then my OEM charger. I also weighed the two chargers for further comparison: OEM Charger weighs 288 grams / 10.2 ounces; whereas the Slim 65W charger weighs 265 grams / 9.3 ounces. The Slim 65W Charger comes with a substantially heavier power cord (appears to be standard computer 3-wire cord; whereas the OEM charger power cord is a lighter 2-wire cord). Weighing only the power block and attached cord to the computer (same length btw) the OEM charger without power cord is 232 grams /8.2 ounces; whereas the Slim 65W Charger without power cord weighs 167 grams / 5.9 ounces. The Slim 65W Charger I received is exactly as advertised on Amazon where details on the various voltages are listed. I obtained this new Slim 65W Charger primarily to have a second charger so I can always have one for home and a second for travel kept in my laptop bag. Heading out without remembering your laptop power cable only happens once, but in my view, that is once too many times. I also thought it would be more convenient to use the second charger in a different room always available so I don't have to climb behind furniture to get to a wall outlet to move the charger. I expect this to be my prevalent use. I realized after receiving the New Slim 65W Charger that the charger is significantly smaller than my OEM charger so it will fit in my laptop bag easier. I doubt if I will really notice the ounce of weight savings though. I do use my OEM charger to also recharge my Galaxy S24 Cell Phone when sitting in my recliner. I intend to try the slim 65W charger in the same manner. I am impressed with the quality of the build and if the inner build is as good as the exterior fit and finish, I expect that this charger will outlast my Lenovo T14 laptop. Recommendation to follow when my review concludes at 6 months (earlier if review must be terminated early for failure or safety reasons). Only 4 stars for now. This Slim 65W USB C Laptop Charger is a great replacement charger to many stock Laptop Chargers and it worked flawlessly and charged at the normal rate as a stock Charger and is actually a smaller size than many stock Chargers I have seen.

I needed an extra charger for my Lenovo ThinkPad to keep in my travel bag, and this 65W USB-C charger has been perfect. Power: It delivers the full 65W output as advertised. It charges my laptop just as fast as the original OEM brick, triggering the "fast charging" mode without issues. Heat Level: I was concerned about overheating with a third-party adapter, but this one stays surprisingly cool. It gets slightly warm after an hour of use, but never hot to the touch. Cord Length: The cable length is generous. It provides plenty of reach from the wall outlet to my desk, so I don't have to sit right next to the socket. Quality: The build feels solid and durable. The USB-C connector clicks in securely and doesn't feel loose or wobbly in the port. Functionality: It works flawlessly not just with my laptop, but also with my phone and tablet since it’s a standard USB-C PD charger. Value for the money: This is a fraction of the price of a branded replacement from Lenovo, and it performs exactly the same. I have successfully used this charger with my Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 2 laptop. It charges as expected and has been trouble-free. What I love about this charger is how small it is compared to the original 65W Lenovo charger that came with the laptop, and the other generic up-to-100W chargers I already have. This charger works great! Comes nicely packaged with velcro ties to stow it away. Charging seems to be very. I haven't noticed it getting hot ot having any connection issues. It comes with a manual which is pretty useless but its a charger so it really doesn't need a manual. This is a good value for the money and works great for laptops, cell phones and any other type c device. ... show more
