I recently found an ancient Acer Aspire 7741 17" inch laptop I own, and for some reason, I put it in a box and forgot about it as I've bought several laptops after this one. So I found this one, and out of pure nostalgia, I decided to recreate once again the revival and reconditioning of a Windows 7 Laptop, the battery is obviously completely dead, and it won't even get some charge, and the original charger is missing, so I ordered this one based on the compatibility description. And yes, it does work perfectly. The machine works only plugged because the battery needs replacing, but at least this charger allows me to use the machine plugged in for as much as I like. I came into possession of a decent 27" Acer monitor, but without a power adapter. I got this power supply because the voltages match and because with the included barrel jack adapter, I figured it would almost certainly work with the monitor. Indeed it did, and the monitor works like a charm.
