  • One picture fault.
Size: 75 inch Style: TV Only
Overall it's a great TV but it has one flaw that I couldn't justify keeping it for the price. When watching programming with closed captions on the picture would dim when the captions were showing and then when they went off the picture would brighten. This repeated over and over causing the picture to have a strobing effect. Tried all the different dimming settings and could not overcome it. ... show more

  • Wow just Wow!!! I went from my 4k sony oled to this.
Size: 65 inch Style: TV Only
I am writing this review as an owner of multiple flagship OLED and Mini Led TV's. I am an avid Amazon shopper and I almost never write reviews but I live on my TV, between computer work, gaming, YouTube, Shopping, Pinterest, and movies I have my TV on a lot. Unfortunately my last TV was an OLED, great fluid picture with amazing blacks but after three years of gaming the burn in made it unwatchable. This TV is awesome I can say with confidence the picture is better than my OLED, I believe it is because of the upgraded processor and 8K capable hardware. Pros: Amazing contrast, good OS, picture settings hold for all modes and inputs, Works great in my bright window full room, very few adjustments needed out of box, and GAMING IS UNREAL !!!! Cons: OS could be snappier, AI sound and picture as well as motion blur and energy saver need to be turned off immediately before trying to set color and brightness. Had to plug it into its own outlet was getting some interference from other device power draws. Conclusion: This TV is a buy Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine. ... show more

  • Solid TV
Size: 86 inch Style: TV Only
Not much 8k content yet. YouTube 8k looks amazing and so do PS5 games. Box was a little beat up but no issues with tv, it was well packed. Picture looks amazing and the blacks look good with the LED. (At least during the day time) I’ll watch it tonight- but so far it looks great. Lower cost compared to OLED and seems worth the cost, but still a pricey tv. Update: you have to change settings as the standard ones, leave large blooming if you are watching this tv at night, they become very apparent. I don’t have any recommended settings yet. ... show more

  • perfect picture right out of the box
Size: 65 inch Style: TV Only
I chose this model over the Oled because the networks have their logo in the bottom corner of the screen and I fear burn in images .. This is the first set I have ever owned that I didn't have to fiddle for hours to get a good picture. It's as plug and play as it gets . also a9 processor heart keeps it fast and seamless.. runs cool as a cucumber where I feel oleds run warm.. also nice and bright .. have heard in reviews that oleds are on the dim side (not saying that's true, but it explains my choice) simply stunning picture.. colors are truest I ever saw . gorgeous deep reds and blues .. so far over the moon with this tv .. hopes it helps someone :) //K ps I don't use any of the apps. I use a firestick ... show more

  • The best LG LCD/LED TV thus far!
Size: 86 inch Style: TV Only
I have several other LG LCD/LED TV previously...LG 75UH8500, LG 86SM9070PUA, LG 75NANO99...This TV, the LG 86QNED99 has the brightest white and darkest black compared to all the previous models I've had. The TV's black levels are getting close to OLED level but not there yet...as nothing can come close OLED black. However if you want an 8K TV with vibrant colors, sharp contrast, very good black levels, HDMI 2.1 ports, fast processor, Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos support...this TV could be the one for you. It is for me. ... show more

  • Best TV You Currently Can Buy
Size: 86 inch Style: TV Only
Best picture I have ever seen. It’s simply stunning. Speakers are OK but I have added a sound bar to round out the experience for this flat screen. It’s just like having the cinema in your living room.

  • Check your WIFI Speed...
Size: 65 inch Style: TV Only
LG Rep is the worse in handling technical questions! So, expect mediocre support. PQ is great, but not groundbreaking. No option to turn on HDR manually. Not that big of a leap comparing1080P vs 1080P with my LW9800 that it replaced. - Preferred the EU stand, of which I thought what I was getting with this TV, but nope, took lots of table space. Slimline mount only applicable for TV 75+. - Uneven Halo Effect that can be seen with mouse cursor. Some area of the panel shows perfect cursor like an OLED panel, but not on others. - Like some others mentioned with CC. - It supports 6Ghz band wifi, but pretty much useless. Rep can't help, and just said choose different band, because as long as this TV can get internet speed of up to 25MBps... Then you are good to go! 25MBps is what needed to operate its smart TV function. At least my TV can only do a quarter of what my ISP provides. This TV gets 85MBps on 2.4 and 5 Ghz, while only getting 10MBps on its 6Ghz band. Grrrrrreeeattt. Basically don't put much expectations. It's there for look but don't touch . (YMMV) - Too many intrusive ADs, for its Smart TV function. ... show more

  • Get used to this picture, you're going to see it every single day
Size: 65 inch Style: TV Only
When the TV starts up it shows this image by Kandinsky. Somehow, this cannot be changed?!? I spent an hour with LG support on this and no one could believe it. The software on this TV is not ready for consumers. How can you make a beautiful TV and force everyone to look at this default garbage? Try something else. ... show more
