This desk has been a game changer for me. It was a bit more than I’d normally spend on myself but so worth it. I’ve deducted one star because of the placement of the control panel, which I definitely think could use some rework. The assembly of the desk did take an entire evening with two people- probably 4-5 hours. There’s just a lot of parts; we aren’t dumb and we do a lot of DIY, so just have the time and space ready when you do this. I checked for all pieces prior to starting assembly; nothing was missing and it was all well packed. I believe it did come with one of the drawer glides slightly damaged, and the seller credited me for it. I ended up putting in soft close glides in place of all of them. I do think that this should have soft close glides by default and not the cheap ones anyway; soft close would match the overall style and quality for this piece and price. Still, if you choose to upgrade them, soft close glides will fit (very tightly). I also ended up changing the handles that came with this. The ones that came with it felt cheap and were pretty small. I had replacements on hand but the drill holes are standard sizes and could be easily purchased separately. My biggest gripe is the placement of the control panel. The control panel is on the left front while the cable hole and outlets are on the right back. It’s been incredibly difficult to run the power cord neatly to the other side of the desk in order to use the sit/stand functionality. The power cord is also SUPER short and the seller doesn’t offer anything longer. I have basically ended up running multiple extension cords all throughout this thing just to make sure everything can turn on. Thr desktop does sit low you can’t have a “basket” for cords- great for short people, bad for cord management! I’ve also pinched my fingers a few times when holding the down button because the desktop and control panel sit so close to the left cabinet. I seemingly can’t get any power block to stick to the underside of the desk, and when I finally think I’ve achieved it, I risk the desktop itself crushing my cables. I am still battling this nearly a year after initial set up. I don’t feel this design choice is optimal. I don’t think there is memory settings either, which is an easy miss given that so many other desks offer it. Maybe I just haven’t figured that out yet. I don’t care enough but if it’s there, it’s not obvious. Again, easy miss on the design/functionality. All in all though, I do love this. I just wish the functional aspect was 10%-15% more thought out than it is. ... show more

LOVE THIS DESK. I wanted something sturdier than I had. The desk top is ONE PIECE. That was a big thing for me. My previous desk felt flimsy connected by two pieces this one is so solid I love it. The colors are great. Another reason I wanted an L and went for this one is bc it has the stationary side. I wanted a small desk aquarium there. This is absolutely perfect. I’ve got a nice 10 gallon, I am starting a nem tank, and the desk is strong enough to hold it. Overall super happy and worth the money. Putting it together is a two man job for sure. Comes with a ton of pieces. FYI but again WORTH IT ... show more

I have had this desk for a few days now. And I get compliments from other office workers that they wish they had bought my desk instead of the ones they were using. The design and color scheme are very nice. I like the L shaped due to the fact I have more space to move around. I especially like that is has the privacy panel so that others do not see your legs or feet when you are standing or sitting. The small cubie on the side of the desk is a nice touch. It also has a couple of cubies and a shelf under the desk. Those are a nice addition to the desk. The only issue with those cubies, is that they are a little far under there and you have to give it a little reach to place or remove items. Now I must talk about the issues with the desk. First off, the desk had a lot of parts and made a large snow mess when you are sifting through the pieces. It also called for a lot of hardware to put the desk together and you had to move from one box to another to assemble certain steps. SO, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE BOXES IN THE SAME ROOM. Even though the desk seems pretty solid. The main desktop is very poorly made. It seems to be made out of two thin pieces of wood with cheap board in-between. There are several areas that sound very hallow and you can actually depress the top piece down. Next up is the motor. For the type of desk, the motor does move very slow. My coworker has another brand desk and a slightly better made top a little heavier, and their desk beats mine in speed when lowering or lifting. I specifically purchased this desk because it had storage and a drawer to keep my files. The file drawer does not close when there are files in it. I have gone back and forth with the seller for months to make it correct and they basically told me to just not put files in the file drawer. That is literally the whole reason we purchased this desk opposed to others. I will never purchase from this company ever again. I have already gave all my colleagues and friends a heads up to never purchase from this company. ... show more

I really love the look and size of this desk, it’s exactly what I was looking for. Building it took several hours on my own with a small lightweight hand drill. Everything was labeled right and instructions were easy to follow. A few of the threaded inserts came out due to over-tightening, but I glued them in and let it dry overnight without issue.
