I didn't use the included pole, but attached the circular head under my pretty table lamp (see photos) which also has another wide spectrum E26 bulb. I had to remove the lampshade support harp and slide the harp legs between the spokes of the plant light, and secured with cable ties. It works great and is attractive. PROS: Color as described. Size as described. Accurate length/width description. Wide diameter of the light halo head (6.3in) is broader than most I've used. which gives light to a larger area. Full Spectrum LED, (White, Red, Blue) run cooler and use less energy than some plant lights I've owned. The auto timer has 3 settings, but some odd traits (see CONS). CONS: The pole which comes with it is a bit unstable, due to the wide lamp head. You need a very deep pot to sink the pole in for stability. The USB plug connector runs warm when the timer is in use, but does not appear to be unsafe. *Whatever time you start it at, sets the timer cycle and then it automatically turns on again at that same time every day. If you want them to come on at 8am, then you need to wait until 8am to set it up. TIPS: Versatile, (using under a decorative table lamp) and my plants like it TIME OWNED: 2 months. I love this little light and so do my plants! So far, 1 month into use, this light and timer is working superbly. My plant is thriving during this winter indoor season. Usually during this time of year when I bring my (huge) ivy in from it's preferred outdoor sunshine it starts dragging and its leaves start dropping everywhere. It gets very thin and straggly looking, as I do not have a window where it gets sufficient lighting, nor do I have the green thumb my parents had. This plant belonged to my mom and I brought it home after she passed 14 yrs ago. Every winter I stress to keep it alive thinking this year will be the last year I'm able to keep it alive until I get it back outside. Each year it has miraculously come back full and healthy once back outside until again it has to come back in. This year after setting this light up for it, it is still full, healthy and thriving!! No leaf loss! I can't imagine what it'll look like next spring/summer after going back outside in such an already healthy condition!! The timer hasn't failed and I don't worry about being gone or keeping it on a regular schedule. I also don't have to worry with the lighting set up (stands, fixtures or dog lol) as it goes straight into its planter and can be moved easily and will be easily removed when it is again warm enough to put back outside! The concept is great but doesn't always mean you get something that works as it says! THIS ONE, i can say so far has been Excellent and works as described! I highly recommend it! ... show more

Nice size! I use on a majestic palm and others when my plants can’t be outside or don’t get a lot of sun. I love the height adjustable stand it’s very convenient. The timer setting is amazing and SO useful. I’m just not sure the light truly is working.. my plants are fine but I thought it would help them grow more. ... show more

Perfect for my taller plants and also assists with getting light to the others around it. I love that you can set a timer on it and it turns on and off by itself each day. My plants are very happy.

I bought two of these lights: Sept. 23 and then Sept.25. They worked well for 3 weeks and then I noticed the lights being on in the morning when I had set the timers for 3 hours. Sometimes the blue ON Light is still lit when the light is off...sometimes both the ON blue light and the 3 hour blue light is lit and the light is still on in the morning. I tried to contact both the seller and amazon to send me replacements but cannot connect with them. The ad says if for any reason, used or unused we will replace. Amazon says they can be returned by January 2024. I love the light source and the plants do grow more but don't feel safe with switches not working property. ... show more
