  • This WILL hold your destructive dog in
This crate really is indestructable. It is huge - we got the 52 inch size - but the metal bars are really strong, my dog doesn't even try to bite at them - he can't make a dent in them. We've had it now for several months. My golden retriever puppy had destroyed a wire crate and was biting away the hard plastic of a travel crate to the point that he ripped the door inward. He is a wonderful dog but HATES the crate. We have done lots of work to try to train him to tolerate it and to gradually build up his comfort of it but he still would spend part of every night as if he were digging a hole out of it and running in the crate. Now he still doesn't like it, but he doesn't try to get out of it. When we leave the house or at night time, he is calmer and lays down. Its big enough he can stand up in it - he's 70 pounds now. We didn't put the wheels on it - don't need to move it and we didn't want for him to be able to scoot the crate around. The locks are good, the roof has an additional door that we don't really use but it is convenient if you need to put something else in after you have already put your dog in. This is worth the money if you have a dog who is crazy in the crate, trying to break out. ... show more

  • Changed to 5* - Good Crate for dogs with extreme anxiety
Size: 55.0"L x 30.0"W x 46.0"H
I came back and changed my review to 5 star as I have had the crate for a month now. All I can say is it has worked wonders for my rescue Catahoula who had such separation anxiety he had chewed through two crates, b Chewed holes in the walls of my new home, damaged window sills and baseboards etc. He absolutely lives this crate. I think it's tge fact there are no bars, instead holes so he can see out in all directions, even the top. He has claimed it as his now and sleeps in it with the door open at night and when we have to leave he goes right in and we shut the door. He has not offered to try to get out or chew on the cage. Prior to this cage he had done upwards of $4K damage to our house and we were ready to surrender him to a shelter, as a last ditch effort we bought this crate...it is worth every cent. It saved our home from further destruction and saved his life because dogs with behavior issues rarely get adopted out of shelters. When we are home he is a Prince, nowadays when we leave....he remains a Prince! This crate is awesome! Update to original review: The seller refunded a portion of the charge because the crate was bent and no instructions. I was happy with that. So far the crate has held up well and my big Goldendoodle (who is not the dog I bought it for) has taken it over. My overly anxious 9 month old Leopard Dog is who I bought it for, he seems to enjoy being in it and hasn't torn it up like he did prior crates, I think the design (no bars) it the reason he cannot destroy it. So I'm changing my rating to 4 stars, would be 5 but the delayed shipping and receipt of a damaged panel cost a star. Original Review: Arrived late. Panel was damaged. Zero assembly instructions. Hired someone to try to figure out how to put it together, it took nearly an hour, he said the metal and the hardware are cheaply made and he thought my dog would easily bend the metal. I'm going to give it chance but sorely disappointed in spending over $300 on a crate that seems very flimsy. At this point the late arrival and arriving damaged is my biggest complaint, I won't know until my dog tries to get out of the crate if it's inescapable or indestructible, the fact that the side panels had damage upon arrival makes me think it's probably not going to be indestructible. ... show more

  • The perfect kennel!
Size: 55.0"L x 30.0"W x 46.0"H
So far I've had this kennel for a few weeks and it has been the only one that keeps my dog inside. He has high separation anxiety and will not stay put when left alone, this dog is an excape artist. Ive bought window locks he breaks through the whole glass, he chewed a hole through my door, and has completely destroyed some of the other cages ive bought. My highly inteligent, large, and stubborn dog could not be left alone... until I got this bad boy. This cage is everything I needed for my dog. No more worrying about him getting lost in the neighborhood looking for me when I go to the grocery store. No more wondering what he tore up or broke or if he hurt himself trying to escape. The locks are a bit weird and a little flimsy but if youre good with tools you could install your own locks on the door, but so far theyve been holding up nicely. If any of you out there are looking for a nice sturdy escape proof kennel I would recommend getting this one. ... show more

  • Ok cage. Pretty sturdy, crap lock lever, needs washers
Size: 55.0"L x 30.0"W x 46.0"H
UPDATE: So I have caged my dog twice now, and both times she has not gotten out, thank God. This cage really stumps her and she can't figure out how to get out. I was recently contacted by the manufacturer and I have been issued a small refund, for the damages from shipping and my complaints on the design flaws. I hope this review helps any other dog owner that is having issues caging their dogs and them escaping. This cage works. My dog is an aussie Shepard and she is 55lbs. She is a bear when she is determined to escape. Ok, so I just got this today and it is really easy to assemble. The latch is a junk design honestly. It has a hole so you can put a padlock on it (which i will have to do, cause the lever is just not convincing enough for me). It came dented and the "paint" or whatever material it is, is peeling and not very good quality. Also, the bolts that came with it are the exact same size hole that bolts it all together, so maybe invest in some washers (which probably should have come with it) and install behind the bolts to make it more sturdy. Overall the looks of it is okay. I feel like this will work for my dog. My dog has escaped many times, even with 1/2 inch rebar welded to the cage. I've seen many reviews stating this is the only cage their dog cannot get out of. Crossing my fingers šŸ¤ž i will be using the cage soon, and will update my review on how it holds up. ... show more

  • Dont buy, Bed of bells
I purchased this for my 1 year old Cane Corso. He’s a big boy and not done growing. I’m not sure if this will hold. Pros: Packaging was good and arrived early, very easy to put together Cons: Metal is cheap, broke within a year and the wheels fell off. May not be big enough for a growing XL dog (wish I’d definitely sized up) , KEEP the original packaging or they will NOT accept return, AND AND this cage raddles like a bed of bells. Every move my dog makes it raddles. I’ve been up EVERY night since we purchased this crate….its driving me crazy. So keep shopping around people Update: I definitely regret this purchase. This cage makes up so much noise that it’s not even worth the purchase. And the bottom slot are so big my dogs paws go through and he hollers loudly. ... show more

  • Keeps dogs with separation anxiety contained
Size: 55.0"L x 30.0"W x 46.0"H
We fostered a Doberman with severe separation anxiety. She could pull apart and destroy a typical wire crate in 20 minutes. She destroyed the plastic trays in regular crates like they were made of fluff and destroyed anything else she could pull through. Because she was so strong, it was important that she couldn’t bend any bars, so I’m sad to see this item isn’t available anymore - the grate type pattern makes it much harder for them to get their teeth around to pull. If it becomes available again, I can’t recommend it enough for dogs with separation anxiety. It was plenty big enough for her to stand (she was tall), turn, and barely took up the entire crate when laying down. The wide panels in the floor made me less worried about toes getting stuck. We used a plastic backed whelping blanket under the crate wheels in case she pottied, as the plastic trays had some gaps and that helped us protect the floor. It is not completely rust proof - areas where she was trying to chew had signs of rust, but the metal itself still held up very well. Before I even put her in it, I climbed in myself and it was enough to stabilize a person sitting carefully, but I don’t think I’d recommend a dog larger than 80-90lbs in weight (she was 65lbs). We’ve had numerous dogs in our home through the years as foster parents and she was the hardest we’d ever had. This crate allowed us both to leave the house at the same time again without fear our home would be completely destroyed by the time we got back. ... show more

  • This item does not meet expectations or advertised description.
Size: 55.0"L x 30.0"W x 46.0"H
I have a 11 month old, 55 pound German Shepherd. She has broken out of metal wire crates, so we decided that we needed something more durable. I received this item on April 8, 2024, and my dog started using it on April 9, 2024. She very quickly made it clear that this dog crate was not going to fit our needs. She chewed on the door and bent the metal until it was so sharp it cut her gums. She busted through the door on April 22. She used the crate a total of 13 days, 6 hours each day (we don't kennel her on weekends) before the crate failed. 🐶This item boasts durability and sturdiness, however, my dog bent the "strong thickened material" much faster than she ever did her wire crate. The screws and hinges are thin and weak, which was a joke for my dog. 🐶The ad says that this item is easy to assemble, but I assure you that the instructions are a nightmare. It took almost an hour with both my husband and I working to assemble it. There is no way it would take anyone 10 minutes like the advertisement says. 🐶The ad tells you that this item has "Anti-escape locks & double-access doors. Double upgrade bolt locks design for anxiety dog, keep dog in contain, avoid damage or injury." My dog both injured herself, created a lot of damage, and escaped in less than a month of use. 🐶The bottom rungs are supposed to be close enough together that your dog's feet won't get stuck. My dog's feet absolutely got stuck. It's a horrible design, I don't know why it isn't just a solid floor. Do not buy this item if your dog has high anxiety in small spaces, or if they are strong, smart, and determined to escape their small space. The metal is easily bendable and becomes extremely sharp and a danger to your dog. The screws and hinges are tiny and worthless, easily breakable by a determined animal. ... show more
