  • What a great little keyboard, portable, comfortable, solid, and for such a great price!!
Size: grey black(red switch)
TLDR: Great little keyboard, feels like much more expensive mechanical keyboards. Very portable, and works on PC and Mac with no issues. Arrow keys work by using Fn key plus other keys for it's super small size. They also have a 70% version with it's own arrow keys. I bought both. Highly recommend. Longer story: I have a second machine I use for rendering and processing while I work on my primary machine. I hate using a KVM, so I wanted a small keyboard that I can tuck away and bring out whenever I am starting a render on that second machine. I always wind up doing *some* work on that second machine before setting off renders, and this keyboard is nice and small and doesn't clutter my desk much, but it's also really nice to work on. the 60% size doesn't have individual arrow keys (you use a Function key + different keys for the arrows), but that doesn't bother me so much, but I noticed that these guys also have a 70% keyboard with individual arrow keys, and I wound up buying that one too! Build quality seems good. Will know how it holds up to time, but for the past month or so I have been throwing this little guy into my bag and taking it with me to various classes where I teach CG, and I use it over the cheap keyboards in the class labs. So as a second keyboard for a second machine on my desk it's awesome (small, capable, feels great to type with), and as a secondary keyboard I can easily take with me to lectures and such, it's awesome in portability and giving me a good typing platform no matter where I go. Highly recommend, especially for this price, it's fantastic. ... show more

  • Constant spring buzzing
Size: grey white(red switch)
The keyboard is very visually appealing. I do not know if my lack of keyboard knowledge is why I give this 4/5 stars, but there are a few features I do not like. Starting with the positives, the backlight (light blue not changeable) is very appealing and not hard on the eyes, the swappable red switches are nice because I like red, and the linear red switches mean it has a nice click noise when typing. Moving into the cons, there is a bit that is annoying. The most notable, and would probably lower the rating more if I wasn't nice, is the spring noises from the keys. There is a buzzing noise that is left if a key is tapped too hard. This can be fixed by buying lube, but annoying nonetheless. Another feature is the lack of hotkey commands. I write a bit of papers and I usually have multiple tabs open. Trying to hotkey a tab to the left or right side of my screen doesn't work because to use arrow keys, the fn key needs to be held and that doesn't work for the windows hotkey: win+arrow_key. Another annoying hotkey feature is the 'del' key which is fn+n. The n key is in a bit of a bad spot to use the 'delete'' function. Of course, these can all be changed by editing the layers of the keyboard, but it is a long and annoying process that I have not taken the time to do yet. The last issue is the key colors. At night, seeing the gray keys, with the backlight on, is a bit difficult. The second photo attached also has extra keys added, not all of them can be attached to the keyboard because there isn't a spot for it (a bit weird but ok). Pros: nice backlight (not changeable color) clacking linear red switches extra switch colors Cons: Spring noise keyboard's default button layer hard to see switches at night ... show more

  • Great after about 5 minutes
Size: black grey(blue switch)
It says plug and play so I guess technically it’s but at first my computer wouldn’t recognize the keyboard. So we did the restart the computer thing, we switched back to the old keyboard to make sure it wasn’t the usb port. And then started reading reviews and Reddit and instructions to see why the keyboard would light up but the keys wouldn’t work. So we basically were reading about ways to fix it and then all of the sudden the computer recognized it and now it works better than expected for price. So before you return it, wait a few minutes while doing nothing and see if that works ... show more

  • Cute little keyboard
Size: grey white(red switch)
I type really well with this keyboard if it's just text. Just the right size if you need a compact keyboard. The red switches are nice and I can type faster than I usually would with an Apple keyboard. That said, the Apple Magic Keyboard that's been around, for well over a decade and a half now, is no slouch either. Weight wise it stays in place really well on top of my whole desk mouse pad. That said, I do prefer a full size 108 key or even a 75% keyboard for the arrow keys. I thought it wouldn't be a big issue, but closing windows, closing tabs, requires the use of the F4 key which unfortunately doesn't make it easy for me to navigate. However, this keyboard is still a phenomenal value and amazing if all you want to do is type text. This is fantastic for that purpose. It's also quite aesthetically pleasing in that retro famicom look. If you're looking for a great value at $30 and an even more amazing value at $22 with the coupon, you don't need to look further, however, if you do, you can probably afford both since this is is so cheap you can get a second keyboard! ... show more

  • keys dont light up and lights making buzzing sound
Size: black white blue(brown switch)
Cons: - keyboard's characters do not glow--only the lights under the keys. - electricity buzzing noise comes from backlight which you wouldn't hear if you had headphones on; if you turn off the backlight the noise goes away. -* no delete button, no arrow keys for navigating autocomplete searches, no pressing function keys without holding fn, having to press fn+shift+esc just to type ~, etc. I'm not counting this into the 3 stars since the keyboard is meant to be 60% compact. - only blue colored backlight Pros: - Very low price - good feeling switches that feel clicky. - Space bar sounds better than rest of switches - heavy durable feel - seems easy to install sound mods This is a cheap keyboard so for the cost it's not bad, but just because Mcdonald's is cheap doesn't mean it's a 5 star restaurant. ... show more
