Why did you pick this product vs others?: My daughter and I both bought one of these backpacks for our European trip. Having the TSA locking device on them is perfect for all of the pick pockets that congregate in tourist areas. We were able to walk in very congested areas with no fear of being robbed due to everything being locked up. I thought the stiffness of the bag was going to annoy me but it actually helped with any back pain. The only issues we had was there was no way to put a water bottle on the outside of the pack necessitating us opening them up whenever we wanted a drink. Charging port: Easily accessible Waterproof: Even in Scotland Storage capacity: Very decent storage capacity even for women like me Value for money: So worth the expense when traveling anywhere. Zipper quality: High quality with no hitches or catches after a year of use.

Excellent bag, nice design and practical layout. Locks in position so cannot simply be opened by the pen method. Unfortunately they use a TSA Lock, which doesn't make much sense on a hand carry item and more importantly is not of much use anyway because anyone can easily purchase a TSA key online and unlock any TSA lock. So all of the organised in flight thieves operating nowadays are most likely well equipped with those keys. However, regarding this bag, it might still be ok if you further equip it with a good non TSA padlock, because the high quality zipper seems to be of the kind which is resistant to the pen method so even if the in-fight thieves manage to easily open the provided in place TSA lock, they will most likely be unable to use the pen method and access the inside of the bag if you further lock it with a non TSA padlock and even some zip ties for another level of protection. So overall a very nice, high quality, well designed bag, pity about the useless TSA lock.

The backpack has a nice cushion on the back side to assist with the overall feel on your back. Only critique I have is I wish that both sides of the back pack should lock and not just the one main compartment. Other than that 10/10 I love it.

Just got the bag, so I can’t yet speak to how well it holds up or quality of build. However, I’ll share my initial impression. I’m using this to commute to the office. I wanted a nice looking backpack (looks professional) that provides good functionality, adequate size for daily trip to office. It look good, is streamline, and appears quality built. It is just a bit on the small size. Most bags can fit a whole lot more. I’m not sure if it will fit my lunch bag. It doesn’t expand and it is rigid. It’s not very functional. Not much thought put into pocket design or placement. Most of the pockets aren’t very usable. I think I will need to get a little more functional bag to fit into the main compartment. The lock secures the main compartment, not the laptop or where you would store the expensive, data rich stuff you would really want to protect. Bottom line: looks good, small, minimalist design, lacks functionality. Can be a great bag in the right situations.
