A good quality stand that I started not to buy do to the width dimensions. I have the correct dimensions in the pictures. The description states that the width is 17.7" inches but it's actually 18 1/8". Some of my equipment is 17 1/2" and thought it might be a tight fit, but ended up working fine. The stand took me only 20 minutes to put together. I never looked at the instructions as I read they were terrible. No damage during shipping. No scratches or scuffs. The wheels are a nice plus, but on carpet loaded down with heavy vintage equipment, can still be a little difficult to move. The quality is pretty good and feels very sturdy. Welds all seem good and I didn't have any issues with cross threading bolts as stated in another review. I'm happy with it and it should give me years of service. ... show more

Assembly instructions are just a miniature set of photos on one small piece of paper. You don’t need instructions to put this together. The wheels are not the ones shown in the photo they are plastic wheels like you see on carryon luggage. They all swivel and all lock. They screw into the base and are 8mm x 1.25 thread. The Allen wrench provided did not fit in the bolts head. I used a 5mm bit in my screw gun. They give you two extra bolts. There are two bars I did not use to keep things from falling off I guess but to me were not that useful so I did not install them. The stand is solid and I like it. If you want better wheels remember they screw into the base. I doubt you could drill out the threaded insert and have push in wheel work very well. Overall I am happy with this and it holds the weight of my older equipment. I doubt it would roll well on carpet. ... show more

This is a practical problem solver for setting up my stereo component system. It is very sturdy and was very easy to put together. Recommend you use a cordless drill and PROPER BIT to make it go smooth. Extra holes to allow for custom shelf height.

    • Beware cheap thin plastic wheels. Not the heavy duty ones as shown in photos.
The wheels are not the ones shown in the photos on the product page. The wheels I received are cheap thin plastic ones the kind you find on light weight printer carts and will probably not support the weight of all my stereo equipment. I chose not to return it as I would have to pay for return shipping and I can probably find better wheels at a hardware store for same or less. Very disappointed ... show more

    • pay attention during assembly
both were ordered same time. one took the scenic route to get here. instructions are terrible but not super necessary if you put your thinking cap on. I had to do a partial reassembly on one bc of the unusable instructions.
